Cocaine Bear had a great opening weekend and a lot of buzz, so it's not surprising that there's already a cheesy knockoff in the works. It's called "Attack of the Meth Gator", and it's being made by The Asylum.
They make cheap, and mostly AWFUL, horror and sci-fi movies . . . many of which are knockoffs of recent hits.
Their titles include "Snakes on a Train" . . . "Ape vs. Monster" . . . "Transmorphers" . . . "Paranormal Entity" . . . and "Sinister Squad". They also made the "Sharknado" movies.
"Meth Gator" is coming this summer . . . most likely straight to DVD and On Demand.

Two idiots near Atlanta recently stole a bunch of stuff from a Sam's Club . . . so much, they could barely fit it all in their car. They walked off with several gaming systems, and other random stuff like electric toothbrushes.
But cops were able to catch up with them about 10 miles down the road . . . when they had to stop to recharge their TESLA.
Teslas can take 30 minutes or more to fully charge. So you have to plan ahead, which they apparently didn't.
The stuff they stole was worth about $8,700. So they're facing felony theft charges.
They also had several guns, and a few big bags of weed. So cops tacked on charges for possession of marijuana with intent to distribute, and possession of a firearm while committing a crime.

Riley Keough stars as Daisy Jones (& The Six) in this highly-anticipated book-turned-movie that just hit Amazon Prime Video last week. The three-episode miniseries follows a Fleetwood Mac-type of band giving their first (fictional) interview since their final performance, recalling what led to the band's hostile breakup.
