Rain Day - In the late nineteenth century, at JT Rogers & Co Drug store on Waynesburg's High Street, a farmer made a remark to pharmacist William Allison that it always rains on his birthday, which was July 29. In response, Allison began keeping track of the rainfall on the day each year.

According to the official historical records, it has rained 118 times out of the 151 years recorded since the tradition began in 1874.

"Punch," a viral infant macaque with the stuffed animal at Japan's Ichikawa City Zoo, celebrated his first birthday by receiving thousands of letters and gifts from global social media fans. Zoo officials hosted a live-streamed birthday fruit feast that drew over 100,000 live viewers.

Las Vegas mom Kyrsten & Dayne Brown didn’t intentionally name their triplets after a sandwich. But they do find the nickname delicious.

Kyrsten was surprised when her obstetrician told her that she was carrying triplets.

“Choosing three names at the same time was definitely a challenge,” she says.

Even so, she and her husband came up with two of the names rather quickly — one boy name and one girl name.

Jaymes is a family name and that was for one of the girls. The boys is Baskyn, and the other girl is named Polly.

It's funny that when you put them in the order of birth it's PB&J.

Brown and her husband looked at each other and realized they named their triplets after a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. “You know that is kind of cute!” Brown remembers telling her husband. The acronym wasn’t intentional, but it was delightful.
