Apple's market capitalization briefly surpassed $5 trillion for the first time on Tuesday, making it only the second company ever to achieve that milestone after Nvidia. The iPhone maker became the most valuable company in the world earlier this month, driven by strong product demand and its decision to sit out the AI spending race that is draining cash flows at Big Tech rivals.
Also, they announced a new option for customers to lease iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches. The move came as the company briefly hit a $5T valuation after surpassing Nvidia in market value earlier this week.
The program, called Upgrade, customers can lease iPhones for up to two years, starting at $17.99 per month (the iPhone 17 Pro will cost up to $45.99 per month). At the one- or two-year mark, customers can purchase their existing device for an additional fee, upgrade it, or return it.
Estimates show the average iPhone replacement cycle has grown to nearly four years; if the leasing option is successful, a portion of Apple’s customers are expected to upgrade almost twice as often.

Grilling season continues and Reader's Digest has looked into the most popular grilled food in each state!
burgers ranked No. 1 nationwide as the top grilled food of interest, steak stole the spotlight across much of the country. The study found that 17 states preferred a steak cut over any other grilled food, showing that plenty of Americans crave a perfectly grilled piece of beef.
Following close behind were chicken breasts, highlighting Americans’ continued love for another classic grilling favorite. Seafood fans also made their preferences known, with shrimp and lobster emerging as the top grilled seafood choices, while corn claimed the top spot among produce.

Has this ever happened at an Elmira Pioneers game?? Tuesday night the Baltimore Orioles and Detroit Tigers had an extra person, I mean Squirrel on the filed. (and a dove too.) The TV crew had a blast with it! He even got the sponsored coldest moment of the game.
I'm sad the inhouse sound guy didn't play the Benny Hill Theme/Keystone Cops song while the grounds crew were trying to catch it!!!! The crowd also booed when the did catch it!!!!! The mascot then had a Free the squirrel sign!!!!
