Tomorrow you won't be able to use that old BlackBerry phone sitting at the bottom of your drawer somewhere.
The company will stop running support for its classic devices running BlackBerry 10, 7.1 OS and earlier. This means all of its older devices not running on Android software will no longer be able to use data, send text messages, access the internet or make calls, even to 911.
While most mobile users have moved on from BlackBerry -- the last version of its operating system launched in 2013 -- the move to discontinue support for its phones represents the end of what was once considered bleeding-edge technology.
BlackBerry's old school cell phones with physical keyboards from the late 1990s and early 2000s were once so popular people nicknamed them "CrackBerries." The keyboard appealed to professionals who wanted the flexibility of working outside the office with some of the tools they used on a desktop computer.

When it came to people, Betty White loved to make them laugh. When it came to animals, she loved to lend them a helping hand.
A lifelong animal lover, White said her parents instilled in her a compassion for all creatures great and small. "They imbued in me the fact that, to me, there isn't an animal on the planet that I don't find fascinating and want to learn more about," she told Smithsonian Magazine.
She even aspired to become a forest ranger or zookeeper before going to Hollywood.
"I often say that I have to stay in show business to pay for my animal business," White liked to joke. Throughout her career, she worked with a number of animal health, welfare, and conservation groups, including those below.
If you want to do something in remembrance of Betty, why not donate supplies, time, or even money to our local shelters.
She was involved with many organizations. Find out more here.

In a BBC Radio 2 interview, lead singer Chris Martin said the band will stop releasing new music in 2025.
He promised three more albums. "Our last proper record will come out at the end of 2025," Martin said. "And I think after that we'll only tour and maybe we'll do some sort of collaborative things, but the Coldplay catalog as it were finishes then." A clip of the show aired earlier Thursday on BBC's The Zoe Ball Breakfast Show.
Martin foreshadowed his decision to (eventually) call it quits in an October interview with NME, saying the band would only make 12 albums in total after releasing its ninth, "Music of the Spheres," that same month.
"I don’t think that’s what we’ll do," he told the outlet. "I know that’s what we’ll do in terms of studio albums."
