A rocket reportedly crashed into the moon back in March.
And the weird thing is no one has any idea as to where it came from.
According to a NASA press release, astronomers first noticed a “rocket body” heading towards the moon late last year. The resulting collision was picked up by the agency’s Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter which showed via images that two craters had been created from the impact.
“The double crater was unexpected and may indicate that the rocket body had large masses at each end,” reads the release. “Typically a spent rocket has mass concentrated at the motor end; the rest of the rocket stage mainly consists of an empty fuel tank.
The Sydney Morning Herald continues to report that theories of the rocket’s origins abound: Some think it came from SpaceX while others put forward the belief that the rocket is a Chang’e 5-T1 from the 2014 Chinese lunar mission.

Joey Chestnut turned in a dominant, if personally unimpressive performance at the Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest Monday.
While on crutches in 81-degree weather, Chestnut netted his 15th championship and seventh in a row by eating 63 hot dogs in 10 minutes, about 15 ahead of second-place finisher Geoffrey Esper.
Rookie James Webb rounded out the top three with 41 hot dogs.
One thing Chestnut didn't mention was a bizarre moment in which a protester rushed the stage and interfered with him. Chestnut responded by swiftly choking the protester before the intruder was escorted off the stage.
In the women's division, Miki Sudo reclaimed her crown, finishing 40 hot dogs after missing last year's contest.

Technology gives us "spell check" and "auto correct" back-ups these days. 24% said their spelling has improved thanks to spell-check . . . while 15% said it has made them worse at spelling. In any event, 71% said that spelling should still be a subject in school, while 16% say those classes are "outdated."

There's a mansion for sale in Madison, Wisconsin. And according to Zillow, the asking price is well over $4 million.
But we're telling you about it because of one of the home's features . . . an indoor slide. There's a spiral staircase from the second floor to the ground floor . . . plus a metal, spiraling slide.
You might think this is a feature for a family with a lot of kids . . . but this looks sturdy enough for adults . . . and is there anyone who would not want to ride this slide instead of taking the stairs?
