Instacart shared another round of stats, this time on America's top Ice Cream orders.
They say the top trending ice cream over the past two years is Pineapple Coconut. It saw a 37% boost in sales last year. Pistachio is next at 25%, and then green tea at 24%.
They also looked at the most popular flavors overall, and you can probably guess #1.
Here are the 10 most popular ice cream flavors in America . . .
1. Vanilla. It's classic and customizable.
2. Chocolate
3. Cookies-and-cream
4. Strawberry
5. Mint chip
6. Cookie dough
7. Coffee
8. Butter pecan
9. Neapolitan. That's chocolate, vanilla, and strawberry side by side.
10. Peanut butter chocolate
They say "Dubai chocolate" (it has pistachios) is also a hot flavor that's rising in the ranks. And the Midwest is fully obsessed with "moose tracks" ice cream.

We've talked about "brushing," the online shopping scam where people get packages sent to them, with random stuff inside, and a QR code that you scan and they steal your info.
A woman in San Jose, California has been getting hundreds of Amazon packages over the past year, and they all contain the same thing: Oversized fake leather car seat covers, which were made in China.
She repeatedly complained to Amazon, but they gave her the run-around.
They promised the deliveries would stop . . . but they didn't. They told HER to dispose of the boxes herself, or donate them, but the woman said she couldn't afford to do that, and no charity wants hundreds of fake leather seat covers.
She contacted the local news, and they looked into it.
It turns out that the Amazon seller was in China, and they randomly put her address as the return address, because then they wouldn't have to pay to have these large boxes sent all the way back to China.
Once the woman's story aired on the news, Amazon finally sent a truck to her house to pick up all the boxes . . . and they've supposedly taken care of the issue so she never receives any more.

It’s the little acts of kindness that make a difference.
A 29-year-old woman in Miami was driving to Wendy's last month when she saw a 97-year-old lady walking down the road, picked her up, and bought her lunch. A video she posted blew up online and ended up changing the lady's life.
She needed a new walker and help with bills. People have now donated over $20,000 on GoFundMe to help her out.

Miranda Knowles has been a sleepwalker her entire life. "It started as a young child and still happens, up to 10 times a month," she told Newsweek. "I have cleaned, put Christmas decorations away, crafted items, prepared food, bathed, and done laundry. Nothing too crazy but I can get a lot done while asleep."
She woke up recently to discover she had spent $8 ordering food Doordashed to her home.
She says that she has been ordering "Just regular things, onion rings, just a single bottle of Coke although I don't drink Coke. I either see the email notification when I wake up or I go to leave for work and there's a bag of cold food at my door."
This time She had paid a man $8 to deliver a single packet of sauce to her house. She confirmed it with her doorbell cam. "I thought it was funny so I showed it to my husband and he wasn't surprised at yet another silly sleepwalking thing I did," Knowles said. "I do like A&W honey mustard but I'm not sure why I would order it alone!"

I always have stories on how coffee is good for you in moderation. BUT,
An eye-opening study — published recently in the journal Food Science & Nutrition — found that drinking instant coffee may dramatically increase your risk of age-related macular degeneration (AMD), a leading cause of blindness.
instant coffee drinkers with a certain genetic predisposition were 700% more likely to develop dry AMD, the more common — and currently incurable — form of the disease.

Jaws is celebrating it's 50th Anniversary this summer, and there's a new documentary on NatGeo called Jaws @50: The Definitive Inside Story.
The problems on the set of "Jaws" are legendary, but did you know things were so bad that Steven Spielberg called his mother??? He was 28 at the time. He says, quote, "I talked to my mom a lot. I mean, I was talking to my mom kinda like, 'Mommy, this is really impossible, help!'"
Spielberg says he never wanted to quit, but he was constantly worried he was gonna get fired.

The Lord of the Rings director Peter Jackson's latest project involves reviving an extinct species. But at least it's not a dinosaur.
Peter and his partner Fran Walsh have partnered with a company called Colossal Biosciences to genetically engineer birds that are similar to the South Island giant moa. The moa is the largest species of bird ever known to exist.
It was flightless, of course, and went extinct by around the year 1500.
Peter and Fran have donated $15 million to the effort. He says, quote, "The movies are my day job, and the moa are my fun thing I do. Every New Zealand schoolchild has a fascination with the moa."

Heathrow Airport in the UK..the biggest flight hub in the country..has commissioned a new "mood-matching" sound mix, which will be looped seamlessly and played throughout the airport's terminals this summer.
The airport says "Music for Heathrow" is designed to help kickstart passenger holidays by reflecting "excitement and anticipation".
The airport invited Grammy nominee "musician, multi-instrumentalist and producer" Jordan Rakei to create the soundtrack, which it says is the first ever created entirely with the sounds of an airport. However, Heathrow said the track also featured sounds from famous movie scenes, including passengers tapping their feet in Bend It Like Beckham, the beeps of a security scanner from Love Actually, passports being stamped, planes taking off and landing, chatter, the ding of a lift and the sound of a water fountain.
It is conceived as a tribute to Brian Eno's album Music for Airports, released in 1979, which is seen as a defining moment in the growth of ambient music, a genre which is supposed to provide a calming influence on listeners, while also being easy to ignore.
Because....the airport doesn't have enough sounds that make it sound like an airport????
