Everyone's trying to go viral with their crazy popcorn buckets, but the latest one went a step further . . . by setting an actual Guinness World Record.
Marvel Studios recently unveiled its "Fantastic Four" popcorn bucket. It's shaped like the head of the movie's villain, Galactus, and it's HUGE.

It's 20 inches wide and 17.5 inches high, and it holds 341 ounces. That makes it the world's largest commercially available popcorn bucket.
Oh, and did I mention that the eyes light up? The thing costs 80 bucks, and it sold out immediately at theaters around the country.
You can still order it at the AMC Theatre Shop. But it doesn't ship until early December.
(you know what this means...more studios are going to try to beat this...so be aware, you will need to buy another seat just for your popcorn bucket)

Does your Ice Cream have freezer burn?
It happens when you thaw and refreeze something too many times. The part that melts turns to ice crystals.
How do you prevent that from happening?
1. Eat it faster
2. Don't have any in your freezer and go and eat at your favorite Ice Cream establishment!
No seriously.
1. Store it in the coldest part of the freezer. Keep it in back, never on the door. Bonus: It doubles as a good hiding spot, so family members don't eat it.
2. Serve it quickly. Don't leave it out on the counter to soften up. Run the spoon under hot water instead. In general, you want to get the pint back in the freezer as fast as possible.
3. Store the carton upside down. Freezer burn is more likely when air gets in. Flipping the carton upside down can help prevent it.

Chowhound.com has a new list of "Canned Foods That Were Popular 50 Years Ago . . . But No One Eats Anymore."
Canned mac and cheese. Chef Boyardee had one.
SpaghettiOs. The original brand was "Franco-American." (Campbell's makes them now...I still eat the one with little meatballs)
Hunt's Pudding Snack Packs. (thankfully they are now in convenient plastic containers..I just had one yesterday...YES, I'M A CHILD!)
"Canned whole chicken." The brand "Sweet Sue" had one.
Canned tamales. Now, you can just buy frozen, if not fresh.
Old El Paso canned tortillas. They were made with just corn, water, and salt, but let you store tortillas on the shelf.
Boiled peanuts. Primarily in the South.
Canned brown bread. Primarily in the Northeast. (still out there..but I'm really not a fan)
Campbell's pepper pot soup. Primarily in Philadelphia.
Canned pork brains with milk gravy. Thankfully, it's still available on Amazon!
Deviled ham, which was ground-up ham . . . spiced and packed into a can . . . and used primarily as a spread on sandwiches. (wait...this isn't around anymore??)
Spam Spread. It's no longer available, sadly.
Canned ribs. The brand "Armour" had one. And they were specially cut to work with the can, then smoked with hickory chips for "great flavor."
For dessert: Libby's fruit float. Just add milk and stir . . . the result was a frothy milkshake-like dessert that was reminiscent of a pudding.

A lot of coffee drinkers would admit that they're "addicted to caffeine" but they're usually lighthearted about it. Even though their mornings are full of it.
In a new survey, 81% of Americans say they drink caffeine, and about HALF of them say their biggest source of caffeine is coffee. 20% are drinking caffeinated soda . . . 7% are sipping a lot of tea . . . and 4% are guzzling energy drinks.
30% of them say they've "tried to quit." 6% say they haven't . . . but probably should. And 32% say they have NOT tried to quit, and "wouldn't even try."
Only 6% of the people who have tried to quit caffeine have been successful.
For a lot of people, drinking caffeine is an "all or nothing" habit.
29% of caffeine drinkers have it "several times a day." Another 32% enjoy it "once a day." 12% say they can get by with "a few times a week." And 6% are able to limit themselves to "a few times a month," or maybe once a week.
But only 1% of caffeine drinkers say they have it "less often" than that.
People were also asked what it would take them to make a serious effort to eliminate caffeine.
34% would do it for "health reasons" . . . 23% would try it to improve sleep . . . 19% would for "dietary reasons" . . . 17% would if they didn't like how caffeine affected their mood or nerves . . . and 17% would if they didn't like feeling "dependent on it."

Today’s Useless Fact of the Day - You can get a really good estimate of the temperature in Fahrenheit by counting how many times a cricket chirps in 14 seconds, then adding 40 to that number.
