Spoonerism Day - William Archibald Spooner was born on today's date in 1844.
he was sometimes absent-minded, but also had a strong intellect. Because of his intellect, his speech often did not keep up with his thought process. That, along with his bad eyesight, contributed to him often saying phrases that were different than the ones he intended. With these slips of the tongue, which became known as "spoonerisms," the initial consonant sounds in some words are reversed. One of his most famous was "It is kisstomary to cuss the bride," which he apparently said while performing a wedding ceremony for a couple.
"Blushing crow" (crushing blow).
"The Lord is a shoving leopard" (Loving shepherd).
"A well-boiled icicle" (well-oiled bicycle).
"I have in my bosom a half-warmed fish" (half-formed wish—it is believed he said this in a speech Queen Victoria).
"A toast to our queer old dean" (our dear old Queen).
"Will nobody pat my hiccup?" (Will nobody pick my hat up?)
"Go and shake a tower" (Go and take a shower).
"Is the bean dizzy?" (while hoping to speak to a college dean).
"Mardon me padom, you are occupewing my pie. May I sew you to another sheet?"

According to the American Heart Association.
Most adults can safely drink up to five 8-ounce cups of black coffee per day, and regular consumption may improve cardiovascular health.

An analysis of recent studies suggests consuming about 400 milligrams of caffeine daily may lower the risk of Type 2 diabetes, stroke, heart disease, and heart failure.
Synthetic caffeine products, such as energy drinks, have been linked to higher risk of high blood pressure and irregular heart rhythms. Coffee's benefits also diminish when sugar and high-fat creamers are added.
Cardiovascular benefits have been linked most strongly to paper-filtered or instant coffee. Unfiltered methods, including French press and espresso, retain cafestol, a natural compound that can raise artery-clogging cholesterol.

The screwworm outbreak isn't helping as 78% are worried it will affect prices along with the higher fuel costs.
44% are buying more chicken, pork, and seafood.
28% are buying more canned or shelf-stable proteins.
22% are turning to egg-based proteins.
18% are opting for plant-based proteins.

The latest fashion rule is not new, but newly named! The Sandwich Rule suggests you match the color of your top to your shoes, creating the "bread" of a sandwich, while your bottoms act as the "filling." It's pretty much just basic color coordination.
Why don't they have Garanimals for adults!!!
