This went around the socials a long while back.
A random poll asked the internet, "What end would you open a banana from?" 72% said "the end with the stem," which you might consider the NORMAL way.
20% said "the other end" . . . and 8% said they're "not sure." (how can you not be sure?...really people!)
Monkeys do the nonstem end.
Speaking of banana debates: Are you cool with breaking apart bunches of bananas at the grocery store . . . or is it poor form to split one or two off?
57% say breaking up bunches is acceptable . . . 31% say it's unacceptable . . . and 12% have no clue. Younger adults are more cool with it than older folks.

And what color do you prefer your bananas?
54% like them a "solid yellow." Another 21% like them a little before that, with some green . . . while another 15% like them a little riper, with the brown spots.
4% of people claim they eat them "mostly green." And 0% like them "mostly brown."

AskReddit Asked "What's a sound you hear that instantly makes you angry for no logical reason?" The most popular responses include:
Styrofoam rubbing on Styrofoam . . . "This makes my teeth and brain hurt."
Microwaves that keep beeping after you have opened the door.
The chirp of a dying battery in a smoke detector. (why do people just let it keep going?)
The Microsoft Teams alert . . . "The sound of an incoming Teams call puts me in fight or flight."
Smacking when eating.
When a fork scrapes a plate.
Snoring . . . "Even the quietest of snoring just instantly sets me on edge."
That "Oh no no no no no" sound on Tik Tok . . . "It's been FOUR [EXPLETIVE] YEARS, the trend is long dead. STOP USING IT."
(I agree…hate it!)
A cat about to barf . . . or a dog licking its crotch.
"Cotton Eye Joe" . . . "Where did you come from, where did you go?"
Children . . . screaming, shrieking, crying, whining . . . and so on.
Hearing "bruh."
The sound of someone rummaging through their purse that is full of way too much stuff and receipts.
The sound of flip-flops flip-flopping past my office door. (it's a new Edgar Allen Poe poem)

If you want to reinject some FUN into your relationship, try celebrating an "arbitrary anniversary."
The name she gave it might just need a little work . . . "arbitrary-versaries."
It's about minor milestones or even just random events. And the weirder they are, the better. For example: The day you binge-watched your first show together, or the first time you peed with the door open.
It's trending after a writer for "Popsugar" did a story on it, but a relationship expert came up with it back in 2021.
The idea is you're creating additional excuses to celebrate each other, and your relationship, in all its weirdness. But they don't have to be weird.
Other examples "Popsugar" gave include: The day you knew you had a crush on each other . . . the day you went on your first trip . . . the day you slid into their DMs . . . or the day you first saw each other naked.
It's good for couples who might not have a real anniversary yet, since people get married later than they used to. But it's not JUST for couples who aren't married.
