Rev. Paul A. Johnson was an Ohio minister who collected thousands of pencil sharpeners. He passed away in 2010. His collection now lives at the Paul A. Johnson Pencil Sharpener Museum, part of the Hocking Hills Regional Welcome Center near Logan, Ohio. His 3,400‑plus sharpeners are displayed according to his original categories, and additional sharpeners from another collector, Frank Parades, have since been added, bringing the total to around 5,000.

Gloucestershire’s world-famous annual Cooper's Hill Cheese-Rolling contest just wrapped up this weekend with a massive upset. The competition's all-time most successful competitor, 38-year-old local legend Chris Anderson (who has 23 wins to his name), came out of retirement after being directly challenged by 24-year-old German YouTuber Tom Kopke. In a death-defying, tumbling sprint down the brutal 1-in-2 gradient hill after an 8-pound wheel of Double Gloucester cheese, Kopke managed to beat the legend to the finish line. Due to unseasonably hot weather pushing past 86°, the ground was firmer than usual, making the victory roll exceptionally intense.

In a hilarious consumer twist, ALDI has brought back its viral "Burning Cash" scented candle due to massive demand.

Described as smelling like fresh ink and expensive paper, it’s a self-aware hit for millennials who want their living room to feel rich, even if their bank account says otherwise.

Food creators have officially turned a viral TikTok hack into a mainstream obsession: the "Pringles Chocolate Block." People are pouring melted chocolate directly into half-empty cans of salty potato chips to create the ultimate sweet-and-salty hybrid bar.

Looking for a new watch? Nicolas Cage is doing TV. In Spider-Noir he plays an aging noir-infected Spider-Man operating in a 1930s New York City drenched in shadow and moral ambiguity.

Also Rick and Morty are back for a new season!

Coming this weekend, Horror fans are buzzing about the upcoming feature film Backrooms, landing in theaters this Friday. Directed by Kane Parsons—the actual YouTube creator who invented the viral creepypasta mythology when he was a teenager—the movie stars Renate Reinsve and is being hailed as the most unique horror project of the year. This could be the Weapons (it's bonkers crazy!!) of the year.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - It's National Paper Airplane Day - the farthest distance a paper airplane has ever flown is 290 feet—which is almost an entire football field.
