Rev. Paul A. Johnson was an Ohio minister who collected thousands of pencil sharpeners. He passed away in 2010. His collection now lives at the Paul A. Johnson Pencil Sharpener Museum, part of the Hocking Hills Regional Welcome Center near Logan, Ohio. His 3,400‑plus sharpeners are displayed according to his original categories, and additional sharpeners from another collector, Frank Parades, have since been added, bringing the total to around 5,000.

Due to unseasonably hot weather pushing past 86°, the ground was firmer than usual, making the victory roll exceptionally intense.
