The Summer Season starts at the Movies this weekend!

The Devil Wears Prada 2 - 20 years later, Meryl Streep, Anne Hathaway, Emily Blunt, and Stanley Tucci return.

Animal Farm - a new animated take of the classic book with Jim Parsons, Woody Harrelson, Seth Rogen, Kathleen Turner, Steve Buscemi, Glenn Close, Andy Serkis, Kieran Culkin, Laverne Cox, Iman Vellani, and Gaten Matarazzo.

Hokum - Horror film with Adam Scott, David Wilmot, and Peter Coonan.

Deep Water - Suspense movie with Ben Kingsley, Aaron Eckhart, Angus Sampson, Mark Hadlow, Kelly Gale, and Madeleine West.

The 2026 Met Gala, taking place on May 4, will center on the “Costume Art” theme, with Beyoncé, Nicole Kidman and Venus Williams serving as co‑chairs alongside Anna Wintour, and will showcase a new exhibition that pairs historic garments with art while supporting the Costume Institute.

The Costume Institute houses more than 33,000 fashion artifacts, and the 2025 Met Gala raised $31 million, the highest amount in its history.

The 152nd Run for the Roses, The Kentucky Derby, is Saturday.

Post time for the "Most Exciting Two Minutes in Sports" is scheduled for 6:57 p.m. ET.

Distance: 1 1/4 miles.

Fastest Time: 1:59:97 (Monarchos, 2001).

Largest Margin: 6 lengths (Mine That Bird, 2009).

I love the names Albus, Right To Party, So Happy, Incredibolt, Chief Wallabee, Further Ado, and Robusta...Terrible odds, but great names!

Best Odds go to Renegade (4-1), a Todd Pletcher trainee who drew the rail (Post 1). Other top contenders include Further Ado (6-1) and Commandment (6-1).

The "Post 17" Curse: In the history of the race, no horse has ever won from Post 17.

Roughly 120,000 Mint Juleps are served over Derby weekend, requiring about 1,000 pounds of fresh mint and 10,000 gallons of bourbon.

The Garland: The winning horse is draped in a garland of 400 red "Freedom" roses. The blanket weighs about 40 pounds and is hand-sewn on the eve of the race.

Reddit asked What animal, that currently doesn’t fly, would be more terrifying if it did?

Want to see the Liberty Bell this semi-quincentennial but don’t have the time or cheese for a pilgrimage to Philadelphia? Have no fear: Chances are, there’s one at a state Capitol, museum or even a fire station near you.

It won’t be the original, but it’ll be a dead ringer.

For a savings bond drive in 1950, the Treasury Department commissioned copies of the famously broken bell, one for each U.S. state and several territories. Except for the serial numbers, they were faithful replicas — right down to the Pass and Stow trademark and a faux crack.

Philadelphia-born and raised, Tom Campbell and friends are bell hunters who are dedicated to visiting as many replicas as possible.

Many people want to spend their lunch breaks alone — not at a table with others while being forced to have a conversation. A woman shared on social media that managers and coworkers need to see a solo diner as normal, not as someone to fill 30 or 60 minutes of time with in conversation. They wrote: “Several years ago, I went out to my car at lunch to eat and then take a nap, and I had a co-worker from another department see me and knock on my window to talk to me. I may have even had my seat reclined by that point. You shouldn’t interrupt someone in their private space on their unpaid break time just to chit chat. I started driving my car over to a different, more secluded parking lot at lunchtime after that!”

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - Because of their fiber content, oatmeal cookies are technically hygroscopic, meaning they actually absorb moisture from the air, which is why they often get softer (not harder) if left out in a humid kitchen.
