Canada just set the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people dressed in dinosaur costumes.

Hundreds of T-Rexes, Triceratops, and Raptors wandering around the University of Calgary campus, definitely marking the most prehistoric traffic jam in history.
Their sports teams are The Dinos and 682 people dressed as dinosaurs for the event, smashing the previous high-water mark of 468, which was set last year by Florida's Cox Science Center and Aquarium.
Not the first time someone has tried. In May of 2024 and had their attempt thrown out due to a technicality. In that instance, approximately 3,000 costume-clad people gathered for an event, but the crowd was so large that it could not be contained long enough for Guinness to recognize an official tally.

Most people reach for oranges when they think of vitamin C, but red bell peppers quietly outperform them. Just one cup of chopped red peppers packs nearly three times the vitamin C of an orange.
That means stronger immune support, better skin health, and more antioxidant power in a single serving.
The best part is that they’re incredibly easy to add to meals, throw them into salads, stir-fries, or just snack on them raw. Boom! Vitamin C maxing!

It is also only the second soundtrack from an animated film to spend 38 or more in the top 10. (record store day is responsible for the bump)

In a historic legal move, Taylor Swift is filing trademarks for her voice and specific images to combat AI deepfakes. She’s trying to own the rights to the phrase "Hey, it’s Taylor" to ensure no robot can ever steal her "Eras" identity.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - The Statue of Liberty was originally intended to be a lighthouse for the Suez Canal in Egypt. When that deal fell through, the designer, Frédéric Auguste Bartholdi, redirected the project to New York. (wait…we were a second thought?)
