Researchers claim they've figured out the secret to having a GREAT DAY.  But . . . it involves math.  Kinda.

In a study, researchers analyzed how thousands of people spent their time, across more than 100 activities.  They compared that to how the people rated their day, and looked for patterns on days rated "better than usual."

Then, they came up with a "scientific formula."

(Technically, it looks something like this:

"BDE = FAM6 + FR2 + SOC1.5 + EX2 + EAT1 - WRK6 - TV1 - CMT0.25.")

Or, in normal terms . . .

The "Best Day Ever" equals . . .

6 hours with family.

Plus:  2 hours with friends.

Plus:  1.5 hours of extra socializing.

Plus:  2 hours of exercise.

Plus:  1 hour of eating and drinking.

With:  Less than 6 hours of work.

Indulging in only 1 hour of screen time.

And no more than a 15-minute commute.

Basically:  Be fit, fun, and available . . . with some relaxation and indulgence . . . and somehow avoid working or commuting too much.

Someone tried to do this, and they found out that you don't need to hit every mark to feel better.

You just need to make some intentional tweaks:

Cut back on social media and get outside for some light exercise . . . make an effort to hang out with the people you love . . . and "close your laptop when your workday is done, not when your nervous system collapses."

They add, "It's about choosing presence over productivity, and connection over convenience."

AskReddit asked, "What's something you'd never buy . . . even if it was discounted by 99.99%?"

The nasty fabric toilet seat covers that Grandma used to have.  Usually in "nice, calming cerulean blue."

A "get rich quick" course from a 20-something on TikTok . . . with a Lamborghini in the background.

A live rhino.

Gas station sushi.

Meth.

Ivory tusks.

Used underwear.

An NFT.

The "premium" level on a social media service.  (Like X and Snapchat.)

A trip down to see the wreck of the Titanic.

A boat.  There's way too much maintenance and monthly costs.

Black licorice.

An OnlyFans subscription.

Crocs.

Sugar-Free Gummi Bears.

By the way, many people said a Tesla.

Have you been avoiding everything since election day January 20th?

Greg Gutfeld from Fox News will host "What Did I Miss?"  He'll take four people who've been in isolation since Trump's inauguration on January 20th and present them with headlines.

Some will be real and some fake . . . and the contestants will have to decide which are which.

The show will air on Fox Nation over three days, May 12th, 13th, and 14th.

Well, I'm out..I don't even know what Fox Nation is...or where to find it...and i'm not bothered to find out either!

Today’s Useless Fact of the Day - Mascot Day!

Vlasic Pickles uses a stork as a mascot because pregnant women are known to crave pickles.

The reason Chuck E. Cheese loves celebrating birthdays is . . . according to a book on his origin story, he's an orphan who didn't know his own birthday so he loved other kids' parties.
