Lately, when there's been a meteor headed toward us or fallen to earth, they have been using different animals to tell us the size.
The latest is - a Corgi-sized meteor as heavy as a baby elephant hit Texas.
The comments are even better.
What's that in giraffes?
I heard it landed just 12 CVS receipts outside of Dallas.
- Which puts it close to Nairobi, eh?
-Not really…Texas is pretty big. I was once driving through Texas. I drove for 9 Taylor Swift Eras Tour concerts and was STILL IN TEXAS!!!

Comedian Richard Lewis died Tuesday night after suffering a heart attack. He was 76. He had also been living with Parkinson's disease.
In addition to his brilliant standup career, Lewis also co-starred on the sitcom "Anything But Love" with Jamie Lee Curtis in the '80s and early '90s. His films included "Robin Hood: Men in Tights" and "Leaving Las Vegas".
These days he's best known as a cast member of HBO's "Curb Your Enthusiasm", starring his childhood friend Larry David.

There's a new social media app out there called Lapse. Interesting concept that you take pictures and then have to wait for them to "develop" in the darkroom for one to three hours.
You are notified once the pictures have developed, and then you can begin the selection process of swiping left to archive the pick or right to add it to your journal, which your friends can then see.
The photos have an automatically added filter that gives them the vintage look of a disposable camera.
It's invite only, so get to seeing who of your friends have the app and can invite you. Think Blue Sky when it started.
This sounds exhausting.

Zara is now selling women's jeans that look like they've been balled up in the corner of your bedroom for a month. They're called "Wrinkle Effect" jeans.
You can't iron the wrinkles out. They're supposed to look like that. And when we say wrinkly, we mean every square inch of them.
Social media is having a field day with comments like, "The jeans I forgot I had when I find them at the bottom of my wardrobe." And one person joked someone who hates folding laundry came up with them.
If perpetually wrinkled jeans somehow sound good to you, they're on Zara's website for $70. A few of the sizes are already sold out.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - Mattel passed on making "Star Wars" toys in the late '70s because they didn't want to pay the massive $750,000 licensing fee. So they had their designers come up with ideas for their own line of action figures . . . and they created "He-Man".
Enjoy this!
