2009 - Pitbull Starring in Rebelution - Pitbull

15 Years Ago - 2009 Pitbull released his fourth album Pitbull Starring in Rebelution.

This was his first major-label release.

"Krazy" was the first single and featured Lil Jon. It peaked at #30 and #11 Hot Rap Songs.

"I Know You Want Me (Calle Ocho)" was his big breakthrough peaking at #2, #4 Hot Rap Songs, #27 Club, #4 Pop Airplay, and #5 Rhythmic. The song samples "75, Brazil Street" by Nicola Fasano and Pat Rich, which itself samples the opening horns riff from "Street Player" by Chicago. I call it the Roomba song!!! The lyric rumba means party or dance.

"Hotel Room Service" peaked at #8, #10 Mix Show Airplay, #7 Rap, #11 Pop Airplay, and #3 Rhythmic.

"Shut It Down" featured Akon and peaked at #42, #29 Pop Airplay, #17 Rap, #18 Rhythmic.
