If you got trapped in an elevator, the odds of being with a celebrity are probably slim. But people over at BuzzFeed are talking about which famous guys they'd feel most comfortable getting stuck with.
1. Tom Hanks
2. Paul Rudd
3. Pedro Pascal
4. Ke Huy Quan
5. Brendan Fraser
someone said Timothée Chalamet . . . because, quote, "I feel like if I had to, I could take him."

Amazon just made a deal to take over creative control of the James Bond franchise. And Jeff Bezos posted a screenshot of the story on Instagram, along with the caption, "Who'd you pick as the next Bond?"
At this point, a new bond flick is probably years away, but there's been plenty of speculation ever since Daniel Craig retired from the role after 2021's "No Time to Die".
Some names that have come up over the years include Aaron Taylor-Johnson, James Norton from "Happy Valley", and Idris Elba.
I think it will be a complete reboot of the series..considering how No Time To Die ended.

Yesterday was Language Day! Or technically, International Mother Language Day. It's been celebrated since the '70s. UNESCO made it a recognized thing in 1999.
Over 7,000 languages are spoken around the world . . . 7,164. But almost half of the world's countries have one of just ten as their "official" language.
Babbel looked at how many native speakers there are for each one. So, just people FROM places where it's the official language.
1. Chinese. 1.3 billion native speakers. Just saying "Chinese" lumps a bunch of dialects together. But around 900 million speak Mandarin.
2. Spanish, 486 million. It's the official language in Spain, Mexico, and most of South America.
3. English, 380 million. (Only third. But hang tight on that for a minute . . .)
4. Arabic, 362 million.
5. Hindi, 345 million. It's the most spoken language in India.
6. Bengali, 237 million. Spoken in parts of India and in Bangladesh. (175 million people live in Bangladesh. It's about the size of Iowa.)
7. Portuguese, 236 million. It's the national language of Brazil.
8. Russian, 148 million.
9. Japanese, 123 million.
10. Lahnda, 118 million. (LON-duh) Spoken in India and Pakistan.
That's the Top 10 for native speakers. But if you look at TOTAL worldwide, the results are different: ENGLISH is #1 . . . it's spoken by over 1.5 billion people. Then it's Mandarin . . . Hindi . . . Spanish . . . Arabic . . . and French.

Brief Briefs -
The chances of that big asteroid hitting us in 2032 just went way down. NASA was saying a 3% chance at one point, but revised it down yesterday to just 0.28%. So, there's a 99.7% chance it won't hit us. They also think it's smaller, maybe 180 feet across instead of 300.

What does a 5,000-year-old mummy smell like? A study found they smell . . . pretty good, actually. The top words people used were "woody," "spicy," and "sweet."

A study figured out why you can eat a huge meal and still have room for dessert. The same neurons in our brain that tell us we're full also release a hormone that makes us crave sugar, and only sugar. Experts say it could lead to new weight-loss drugs for people who can't resist sweets.
--
Noise-cancelling headphones could affect your hearing if you use them too much, but they don't actually damage your ears. You just get so used to no background noise, your brain can't process it. So it gets harder to hear things like dialogue in movies when there's music behind it.
