The Philadelphia Eagles were the winners of the Super Bowl but the big winner could be the flare Celine jeans that Kendrick Lamar wore during his half-time performance.

Bootcut and flare jeans really date back to the ‘60s and ‘70s and had a resurgence in the 2000s.
Other celebrities are embracing the flare as well, Cindy Crawford, Jennifer Lopez, Drew Barrymore, and Reese Witherspoon.

Yesterday was Galentine's Day . . . like Valentine's Day, but just for gal pals.
A poll for it looked at how many good female friends the average woman has: 26% said three . . . 44% said four or five . . . and 26% said six or more.
Here are the top qualities women look for in those friends . . .
1. Common interests. 60% said it's the most important thing.
2. A similar sense of humor, 28%.
3. A fun-loving attitude. 4% put it at #1.
4. Intellect, 2%. So . . . being dumb isn't a deal-breaker. (but you have to have one in your posse)
5. Religious beliefs, 2%.
Google looked at some of the top Galentine's Day related stuff we've been searching for. The top trending activity is "dinner party," and the top food is "chocolate covered strawberries."
The top Galentine's Day drink women are googling is a "Shirley Temple." No alcohol?

There's an article online (from the NY Post under the subheader of Astrology) that claims to have the "best and worst Valentine's Day gifts." But the rationale behind them is a little shaky. See what you think. The "best gifts" are . . .
1. Watches. The site's expert says, "A watch represents the gift of time. By gifting a watch, you'd be promising your partner that you'll be present for them."
2. Chocolate. "The gift of chocolate can be traced back to the Mayans, who viewed cacao, the main ingredient in chocolate, as a 'heart opener.'"
3. Scarves. "They represent a strong spiritual connection. [They show] faith in the relationship and a desire to keep each other warm and protected."
4. Kitchenware. "Despite the backlash against presents which are seen as functional or boring, kitchen utensils can let your partner know that you want to nourish each other's souls and create something together."
And the three WORST Valentine's gifts are:
1. Lingerie. The site's expert says, "Since underwear covers our most private areas, it represents a desire to hide something . . . your partner may be sending you the message that they are keeping something from you."
2. Alcohol. "The word alcohol comes from the Arabic word, Al-Kohl, which links to both early cosmetics and spirits. The word ghoul derives from the same source."
3. Bath Salts. "Salt is a cleanser and a purifier, so the gift of bath salts will help rid the receiver of any negativity in a relationship. But if YOU are a toxic partner, you will be cleansed away."
