1991 Vanessa Williams released her second album The Comfort Zone. Five singles were released "Running Back to You" (#18 #1 R&B #2 Dance), "The Comfort Zone" (#62 #2 R&B #25 Club), "Save the Best for Last" (#1 Hot 100 and R&B), "Just for Tonight" (#26 #2 Adult Contemporary #11 R&B), and "Work to Do" (#52 #3 R&B #8 Dance.)
The album was nominated for five Grammy Awards: Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female for "Runnin' Back to You" in 1992; Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female, Record of the Year and "Song of the Year" for "Save the Best for Last" and Best R&B Vocal Performance, Female for "The Comfort Zone."
