The album was going to be called by the first single "American Storm." It peaked at #13 and #2 Mainstream Rock.

"Like a Rock" Peaked at #12, #21 AC, #1 Mainstream Rock. It also became the theme for a massive Chevrolet truck campaign from 1991 until 2004.

"It's You" made #52, #22 AC, #8 Mainstream Rock.

"Miami" made #70 and #47 Mainstream Rock.
