1982 The supergroup Asia released their debut self-titled album. The group consisted of various members of different progressive rock bands of the 70s. John Wetton of King Crimson, Steve Howe and Geoff Downes of Yes, and Carl Palmer of Emerson, Lake & Palmer.
"Heat of the Moment" led the singles and was their biggest hit making #4 and #1 Mainstream Rock. "Only Time Will Tell" followed and made #17 and #8 Mainstream Rock. Third single "Sole Survivor" charted at #10 Mainstream Rock.
