1982 Shalamar released their sixth album Friends. This was the classic line-up of Jeffrey Daniel, Howard Hewett, and Jody Watley. Singles were "I Can Make You Feel Good" (#33 R&B), "A Night to Remember" (#44 #8 R&B #15 Dance), and "There It Is" (UK #5.)
