45 Years Ago - 1981 Rick Springfield released his fifth album Working Class Dog.

The dog on the cover is Rick's pet named Ronnie. The album also features Neil Giraldo who worked/married Pat Benatar.

"Jessie's Girl" was one of the slowest climbs to #1 at the time. Taking 19 weeks and won the Grammy for Best Male Rock Vocal Performance. It also made #10 Mainstream Rock.

"I've Done Everything for You" was written by Sammy Hagar and made #8.

"Love is Alright Tonite" made #20 and #40 Mainstream Rock.
