1981 The J. Giles Band released their tenth album Freeze Frame. This was the last one to feature Peter Wolf on vocals. First single "Centerfold" went #1 on both The Top 40 and Mainstream Rock. "Flamethrower" had an interesting life, first a Club Play single at #12, #25 on the Soul chart then #30 at Mainstream Rock. Third single "Freeze-Frame" made #4 and #8 Mainstream Rock. Final single "Angel in Blue" made #40.
