When it comes to holiday gift-giving, how much would you spend on someone if you'd only been dating for six months?

It might depend on how hot-and-heavy things have gotten. But a new poll by Dating.com found seven in ten of its users would spend exactly zero.

71% said they wouldn't buy the person a gift unless they'd been dating more than seven months. Which makes this next stat relevant too . . .

38% claim that if they don't get an "appropriate gift" from the person they've been dating, they'll DUMP them. 35% said they've done it before.

The poll also looked at couples who promise NOT to buy each other gifts. Has this ever happened to you?

43% of people said they've agreed to not buy each other gifts before. But 62% of those people bought something anyway, and got nothing in return.

Vlasic is selling a new scented candle that smells like DILL PICKLES.

It also looks exactly like one of their jars. So you can't even tell it's a candle unless you look closely.

They did it for National Pickle Day, which is November 14th. Check out ShopRyanPorter.com. They cost $29.

If time travel was possible, which decade of your life would you choose to experience all over again? (let's get in the TARDIS and find out)

Someone asked 2,000 American SENIORS what they'd do. And the top answer was to go back and experience their 30s again.

30% said their 30s were the happiest or best decade of their life. Their 20s was second with 25% of the vote.

Seniors were also asked what advice they'd give their younger self if they had a chance.

Some of the most common answers include: Accept challenges . . . follow your gut . . . be bold . . . stay humble . . . always be prepared . . . and stay positive.

But would their younger self even listen? 49% said they received solid advice from people when they were young, but ignored it.

The TSA tweeted out pictures after a woman flying from Fort Lauderdale to Haiti got caught at the airport . . . trying to smuggle a GUN through security by stuffing it inside an uncooked chicken.

They haven't released X-rays of it, which are probably hilarious. But they did post four shots of the gun being removed from the bird.

The TSA had some fun with the wording in their post. They called it a "personal FOWL", spelled F-O-W-L . . . said it was a huge "BASTE of time" . . . and told other people not to "WING it" when traveling with firearms.

The woman did NOT make her flight. They brought in Customs and Border Protection to deal with her, so it sounds like she'll be facing charges.

Being caught with a gun by the TSA also comes with a $1,500 fine, or $3,000 if it was loaded. For repeat offenders, it's up to $14,000.

To be clear, you ARE allowed to bring a whole, uncooked chicken or turkey in your carry-on. So if you want to haul one across the country for Thanksgiving, go for it. Just don't leave any firearms inside.

The TSA posted a link on how to travel with guns in your checked luggage, and how to declare them. You can't have them in your carry-on though, for obvious reasons.

Are you going to pass on Black Friday this year . . . to do your Christmas shopping in a neighbor's garage?

In a new survey, 78% of Americans say that they're looking to save money this holiday season by purchasing PRE-OWNED gifts. And not vintage collectibles or refurbished electronics.

These people are reportedly hitting up "re-commerce" sites like OfferUp, Craigslist, Facebook Marketplace, and eBay to get cheaper, lightly-used stuff.

75% of Americans say giving pre-owned gifts has become more socially acceptable. And 86% say they're "likely" to buy used gifts . . . or at least price-check a gift on re-sale websites before buying it new at the retail price.

There isn't a list of what kinds of products people are buying used . . . but it sounds like some of us could be off-loading clothes on Poshmark.

In a separate poll, 45% of people say they own items of clothing which have only been worn ONCE . . . and many of those people don't see themselves wearing the items again, either because they no longer fit their style OR their physique.

In a new survey, 94% of Americans said they're NOT currently living in their dream home . . . but everyone has a different idea of what that would look like.

For example, 28% of people say their dream home would be in the suburbs . . . 22% would prefer a beachside home . . . 20% say their dream home is out in the country . . . 15% want to be in the heart of the city . . . and another 15% want to live in the mountains.

And people ARE being realistic. While some said their dream home would be a multimillion-dollar mansion . . . the majority of people say their dream home would cost $500,000 or less.

The most popular exterior style is: Modern, followed by Ranch . . . Victorian . . . Farmhouse . . . and Cabin. Modern was also the most popular INTERIOR style, followed by Minimalist . . . Traditional . . . Contemporary . . . and Eclectic.

And the most popular dream amenities are: A "home with a view" . . . a big backyard . . . a large family room . . . a front porch or a balcony . . . privacy . . . a "hobby room" . . . and a home theater.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - The Philadelphia Gimbel Brothers Department Store parade in 1920 had only 50 people, 15 cars and a fireman dressed as Santa Claus. The parade ended with Santa on his sleigh, signifying the arrival of the holiday season. Today, it’s much bigger and called the 6abc Dunkin’ Donuts Thanksgiving Day Parade instead. It was the inspiration behind the Macy’s Day Thanksgiving Day Parade which started in 1924.
