Wednesday 1/19/22

National World Quark, Popcorn, Brew A Potion, Good Memory, Gun Appreciation, Artist as Outlaw, Museum Selfie, New Friends, and Tin Can Day.

72% of people have said they are fans of leftovers. But what did they say make the best leftovers?

1. Soups and Stews

2. Pizza

3. Meat

4. Pasta

5. Rice

More than 50% of people also like leftover vegetables, Chinese food takeout, and roasted potatoes.

Of the 18 choices, sushi was the least popular leftover, followed by eggs, avocado, guacamole, fish, salad, and fried food.

The average person thinks they got their best sleep at age 24, according to a new survey. You're not in school anymore, and maybe don't have kids yet so it's easier to sleep in, so that makes sense.

People were asked what's keeping them up at night in general right now. The top five answers were family stress, work stress, the temperature of their room, worrying about money, and too much screen time.

The new TikTok trend is to film yourself trying to peel an egg that's still raw. Which is possible, apparently.

It's something doctors and dentists do in school to practice their skills, and it's very hard to do without piercing the membrane inside the shell. The most popular tools to use seem to be tweezers and cuticle pushers. You just have to be patient and break off tiny pieces.

Getting the last few pieces seems to be the hardest part. Almost every video ends with yolk everywhere, so maybe try it over the sink.

Since his days at Hogwarts, Daniel Radcliffe has dedicated his career to quirky indie movies rather than Potteresque blockbusters—and now it looks like he’s found his weirdest character to date.

Radcliffe is set to star as “Weird Al” Yankovic in the upcoming biopic Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, according to The Hollywood Reporter, in an upcoming feature co-written by Yankovic himself.

The Yankovic movie is set to start filming in Los Angeles next month and will be released exclusively on the Roku channel. It was co-written by Eric Appel, who will also direct the feature. He commented: “When Weird Al first sat me down against my will and told me his life story, I didn’t believe any of it, but I knew that we had to make a movie about it.”
