Single - "Bad Day" - Daniel Powter. From his debut album, it became the first song ever to sell two million digital copies in the United States. Nineteen weeks at #1 on the AC chart.
Album - "Some Hearts" - Carrie Underwood. Her debut album that was also the best-selling country album in the United States of in 2007, making Underwood the first female artist in Billboard history to earn back-to-back honors for Top Country Album. It won three Grammy Awards: Best New Artist in 2007 and twice Best Female Country Vocal Performance—for "Jesus, Take the Wheel", in 2007, and for "Before He Cheats." Besides those songs, "Don't Forget to Remember Me", "Some Hearts", "Inside Your Heaven" (her American Idol winning song), and "Wasted" were hits.
