Single - "Macarena" - Los del Rio. Wasn't a hit till the Bayside Boys remix. It was #1 for fourteen weeks.

Album - "Jagged Little Pill" - Alanis Morrisette. The third album from her and a departure from the dance-pop sound of her first two albums. It was nominated for nine Grammy Awards, winning five, including Album of the Year, making the 21-year-old Morissette, at the time, the youngest artist to win the top honor. Six singles, "You Oughta Know", "Hand in My Pocket", "Ironic", "You Learn", "Head over Feet", "All I Really Want."

Twelve weeks at #1.
