Single - "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" Bryan Adams. From the Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves Soundtrack and Bryan's sixth album Waking Up the Neighbours. #1 for seven weeks, but seventeen on the sales only chart.
Album - Mariah Carey's debut. Released in June 1990 and ended up spending eleven weeks at #1. Five singles were released from the album, four of which became number-one hits on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. Carey became the first artist since The Jackson 5 to have their first four singles top the charts in the United States.
"Vision of Love" Best Female Pop Vocal Performance winner at the Grammys (#1 Hot 100 AC and R&B), "Love Takes Time" (#1 Hot 100 AC and R&B), "Someday" (#1 #5 AC #1 Dance Club #3 R&B), "I Don't Wanna Cry" (#1 #1 AC #2 R&B), and "There's Got to Be a Way" (uk release.)
