National Coffee Day was yesterday.
There was a time when Seattle was the coffee capital of the U.S., but is it STILL? An annual report on the Best Coffee Cities in America ranked 100 cities based on things like: Local coffee popularity . . . coffee roasters and shops . . . coffee spending and prices . . . and coffee culture.
This year, war ravaged Portland, Oregon came in #1, followed by Orlando . . . Long Beach, California . . . Miami . . . Seattle . . . Tampa . . . San Francisco . . . Austin, Texas . . . Oakland, California . . . and Pittsburgh.
Laredo, Texas brings up the rear at #100.

This year, a study showed that coffee can boost your mood . . . even on Mondays. Regular caffeine drinkers feel "happier and more enthusiastic" after a cup . . . and that joy lingers for more than two hours.
and drinking caffeinated coffee DAILY is associated with a lower risk of death, particularly from heart issues. But that's only if you don't drown it in cream and sugar.
--
Earlier this year, a study found coffee drinkers do live longer, but only if you stop drinking it by noon. All-day coffee addicts don't get the same benefits.
Would you give up coffee or mac-and-cheese? In a recent poll, 56% of Americans claim they'd be willing to give up coffee before giving up macaroni and cheese.

During "Sunday Night Football", Bad Bunny was announced as the headliner for the 2026 Super Bowl Halftime Show. But he might not have been the FIRST choice.
Taylor Swift was allegedly in negotiations, but she turned it down because she didn't want to do it for FREE.
So who is Bad Bunny? The Puerto Rican singer is not new to the halftime show; he was there in 2020 with Shakira and J.Lo's show.
He's known as the king of Latin trap, a three-time Grammy winner, an 11-time Latin Grammy Winner, and was crowned Artist of the Year by Billboard magazine in 2022.

Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco got married Saturday at a place called Sea Crest Nursery in Santa Barbara . . . and wasted little time posting pictures.

In his own post, Benny said he married, quote, "a real-life Disney princess.
Celebrity guests included Taylor Swift, of course . . . plus Selena's "Only Murders in the Building" co-stars Martin Short, Steve Martin . . . along with Paul Rudd, Zoe Saldana, Ed Sheeran, SZA, Camila Cabello, Cara Delevingne, Paris Hilton, Eric Andre, Finneas, and members of Selena's "Wizards of Waverly Place" family.

New fear unlocked: Don't yawn too hard or it could KILL YOU.
A 36-year-old woman in England named Hayley Black recently shared a story on TikTok of how a big yawn almost ENDED HER LIFE.
She was about to feed her baby when the kid yawned. And yawns are contagious, so she yawned too . . . while stretching . . . and immediately felt a "shock" in her neck.
It turned out her yawn was so forceful that two vertebrae in her neck had "shot forward into her spine."
Her spinal cord got so compressed that she was paralyzed for a while. Doctors said there was a 50/50 chance she'd even survive. But thankfully, she's still with us.
She just shared the story, but it happened in 2016. She was in a wheelchair for months and had to learn how to walk again. She still has issues almost 10 years later, including serious nerve damage.
