More little worthless scraps of paper in your wallet or purse. No ticket matched Wednesday night's Powerball drawing, which means the $850 million jackpot will grow to $925 million ahead of its next drawing on Saturday. It's $432.4 million lump-sum prize.

Actor Michael Gambon -- best known for his role as Albus Dumbledore in the 'Harry Potter' films -- has died from pneumonia at the age of 82.
The longtime Hollywood actor was cast in his most memorable role as Dumbledore in 6 out of the 8 Harry Potter films after the death of his predecessor, Richard Harris, in 2002.
Gambon also starred in dozens of other movies, including “Gosford Park," “The King’s Speech” and the animated family flick “Paddington.” His work spanned TV, theater and radio, as well.

Taylor Swift is expected to be in the house when Travis Kelce and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the New York Jets at MetLife Stadium. That's local for Taylor, because she owns a place in New York City.
About last weekend, Travis Kelce said that he and Swift "slid off in the getaway car," but he didn't confirm whether they're dating. "I want to respect both of our lives," he said. "She's not in the media as much as I am doing this show every single week. … I'm enjoying life, and I sure as hell enjoyed this weekend."

How many times a day do you take out your phone to snap a picture? A new poll found the average is six times a day.
It also found the average American currently has 2,795 photos saved on their phone. The most common pics we have are shots of friends and family . . . selfies . . . and pictures of our pets.
Here are the most common reasons people said they take photos . . .
1. Because we want to look back on a moment later.
2. To take a photo of something unusual, or something we've never seen before.
3. To show something to someone else.
4. To post it on social media.
5. Because there's a, quote, "cuteness factor." So that one's mostly about kids and pets.
I only have 1177 on my phone. that should distract you from the g-mail red bubble that says i have 5643 unread e-mails

You can't trust everything you hear on TikTok. "The Washington Post" did a story this month on how a lot of dieticians on there are being paid to say certain stuff, but aren't always upfront about it.
Some influencers are idiots, some arein't, but a lot are being paid to say certain things and they aren't always clear that it's paid content..which you are supposed to disclose.

The fashion brand Miu Miu is selling what might be the most expensive pair of underwear ever sold . . . $5,600.
They're made of silk, wool, and a ton of sequins.
You really can't wear these under pants..i guess in a dress ladies ok, but..wearing underwear as "outerwear" is popular with young people now. So they're meant to be more like really skimpy shorts for women.
If you're willing to drop the kind of cash you'd spend on a used car . . . just for one pair of underwear . . . you can buy them at MiuMiu.com. They come in two colors, gold and pink. Somehow, both versions are nearly sold out.

Carrie Underwood tore it up opening for Guns N' Roses last summer. But she told "Las Vegas Magazine" that she was "super nervous" going into it because that's not her usual audience, and she had no idea how they'd respond.
This part is interesting too. The whole thing started when the band reached out to her. I think they knew she'd be interested, because she told them, quote, "You could pay me in tickets. I'll sit up there and watch the show and just have fun."

Today’s Useless Fact of the Day - No known hurricane has ever crossed the equator and it's very rare that they form anywhere near the equator.
That's because of the Coriolis Effect . . . the force that causes the air to swirl. In the Northern Hemisphere hurricanes spin counterclockwise, and in the Southern Hemisphere, they spin in a clockwise direction. So to cross the equator, they'd effectively have to reverse direction, which would be wild.
