Love Halloween and scary movies? A cable and Internet comparison site called CableTV is looking to pay someone to watch, rank, and review horror movies. They're calling this position a "Thrillternship". Quote, "This position is not for the faint of heart, we're looking for real fans of fear, enthusiasts of the eerie, and devotees to the dreadful."
The "Thrilltern" will earn a VERY SCARY $666, plus a $50 Uber Eats gift card and a one-year subscription to Screambox. Applications are open until October 7th, and you must be at least 18 years old.
The Thrilltern must choose five horror movies from their list of the scariest movies. Here are 13 movies found on their list:

Yesterday was National Ice Cream Cone Day. And a while back, a poll asked 6,500 American adults what they like their ice cream served in.
32% want a waffle cone . . . 16% want a sugar cone . . . and only 8% prefer cake cones. 33% pass up the cones altogether to get a cup . . . and another 2% want "something else," like maybe a specialty cone.

Google looked at the top searches that start with "Is it weird to like [BLANK]." Here are the top five.
1. Is it weird to like the taste of blood? Some people enjoy that metallic taste, so you're not alone. Just don't announce it on a bus.
2. Is it weird to like the smell of your own FARTS? That one is really common. But even if 100% of us enjoyed our own gas . . . it doesn't seem like we should.
3. Is it weird to like the smell of gasoline? There are whole Reddit threads on that one. So, it's not that weird. Benzene only makes up about 1% of what's in gas, but that's where the smell comes from.
4. Is it weird to like being called "good boy"? If we're talking about dogs liking it, then no. If we're talking about humans . . . yeah, pretty weird.
5. Is it weird to like spiders? Some experts think fearing them is baked into our DNA. So if they seem cuddly to you, you're in the minority. But if you just find them interesting, sure they are . . . in a creepy way.

A kid near Philadelphia is in the news because he's got some serious smarts. Nine-year-old Aiden Wilkins has skipped so many grades, he's already a sophomore in high school. He's started taking neuroscience classes at a local college. He says he wants to be a pediatric neurosurgeon someday.
