The new iPhone came out Friday and almost 90% think it's overpriced.
And....you might be using your phone wrong older people..at least according to the younger generations.
1. Calling people. For most people younger than about 40, a text message will suffice in just about any situation. Older people love making calls, answering calls, and talking to just about anyone on the phone.
2. Sending long text messages. If you send one giant block of text that takes up the entire screen, you might be a Boomer. Other red flags: Responding to the group chat with unnecessary comments, overuse or misuse of emojis, and forwarding things like chain letter texts.
3. Not locking the phone screen. Older people will use their phone, then put it straight into their pocket or purse. And THAT leads to pocket dials and random apps being moved or opened.
4. Unknowingly turning on the flashlight. Or using it in a restaurant to read a menu and then leaving it on. One person likened the phenomenon to driving with your car's blinker on.

You sit down to watch TV and here come the pharmaceutical commercials. By the way, I think we need to have a talk with anyone who's in a Jardiance commercial. You're banned from acting...terrible!
Anyway, drug companies invested $3.73 billion in national TV advertising from January through August 2025, representing 14% of all television advertising spending during this period.
While pharmaceutical ads represent only 4.2% of all commercials aired, they consume 8.3% of total advertising time. You have noticed that they are longer than other commercials.

You know those candles you put on a cake for someone's birthday that get blown out and come back on..oh fun...whoo hoo!!!! Just be careful of "fancy" candles.
A birthday wish in Germany almost came with third-degree burns after a family stuck fireworks on top of a cake.
The footage, now racking up views online, shows 20-year-old Askin Acar leaning over his cake while relatives set up what everyone assumed were standard sparklers. Seconds later, the room filled with flames and screams as the “candles” shot off like a pyrotechnics demo in the middle of the dining room. Everyone is running and ducking to avoid the flying, flaming shrapnel.
Comments on the video include,
“Birthday or worst-day,” one wrote. Another shrugged, “That’s why women live longer than men, right there.” Some even joked that the family had accidentally invented a new genre of party entertainment.
