Hundreds of Milwaukee drinkers took up a bar on its offer of a free tab if the New York Jets — the new home of former Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers — lost their season opener on Monday Night Football. When Rodgers was injured just four plays into the game, patrons started ordering more, thinking a night of free booze was on the house — but then the Jets won in overtime. The duly paid tabs gave Jack's American Pub one of its biggest nights of the year.

By the way, Aaron is out for the season.

The most popular decongestant in the U.S. — the active ingredient in over-the-counter versions of Sudafed, Allega and Dayquil — does not work, said FDA advisers. If the FDA accepts their recommendations to pull phenylephrine-based decongestants from shelves, we'll still be able to buy the original, pseudoephedrine-based versions of Sudafed et al — but at the pharmacy counter, where they were moved in 2006 to prevent the drug from being used to make meth.

The happiest state overall is Utah, where people enjoy both the best work environment and community in the country.

Hawaii takes the second spot, ranking highest in the US for emotional and physical well-being.

In third place is Maryland, with scoring fourth-highest for work environment and fifth-highest for community.

New York ranks 16th

Pennsylvania ranks 25

At the bottom are West Virginia, Louisiana, and Tennessee.

According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, a car is stolen every 32 seconds in the US — but some types of vehicles are targeted more often by thieves than others.

The most commonly stolen vehicle in the US is the full-size Chevrolet pickup, with 49,903 total thefts reported in 2022. More than half of all Chevy pickup thefts took place in California and Texas.

GMC Full Size Pickups are next followed by Ford Full Size Pickups.

Honda CRV, Civic, and Accord all make the top 10.

Toyota Camary

Hyundai Elantra, Hyundai Sonata and Kia Optima all joined the top 10 list this year — and a viral TikTok challenge might have something to do with it.
