You have to love the internet. Just a heads up.

August 12th 10:33 am local time, the world will lose gravity for 7 seconds; NASA knows - they're preparing but won't tell us why.

It seems - in November 2024, a classified NASA document titled "Project Anchor" allegedly leaked online. The budget: $89 billion. The objective: survival during a 7-second gravitational anomaly.

Gravity will simply stop, and anything not secured will rise and float 15-20 meters into the air. Inside, people will slam into ceilings (then presumably back to the floor)

Well, I guess the end of the world or rapture thing never works out, so we've moved on to this nonsense.

Here's your latest TikTok trend. Dunking your cheeseburger in soda.

Sweet and Salty? Or just gross?

There's a new trendy "diet" That sounds like part of the carnivore diet, which involves eating mainly animal foods like meat, and in some cases also includes fermented foods. Experts say it’s extremely restrictive and cuts out many nutritious foods, and it isn’t evidence-based for long-term health claims.

This diet allows for meats, fish, and small amounts of dairy, while excluding most plant-based foods.

One benefit of this diet is supposedly not having to use toilet paper.

Dr. Sean O'Mara said in an article in NY Times Magazine, "Animals in the wild have no residual stool on their anus," O'Mara explained to the outlet. What happens to bathroom visits when you eat in accordance with the steak-sauerkraut diet: they become "odorless, wipe-free, over in three seconds and 'nearly orgasmic.'"

He must be very lonely.

A public school district in Salamanca, NY has suspended plans to introduce a humanlike AI-powered robot into classrooms following widespread pushback from parents and teachers. The district had planned to test the humanoid assistant for interactive learning, but community members voiced concerns over screen time, privacy, and replacing human connection in early education.

(Besides, it looks creepy.)

A library received a surprise package in the mail containing a rare book that had been missing for four decades. Inside was an anonymous apology note from a former patron expressing deep remorse for taking the volume in the 1980s, accompanied by a $100 bill to cover late fees and book restoration.

BASE Jumpers Parachute Off Top of Seattle's Space Needle: Police are searching for two unidentified men who bought observation deck tickets at Seattle's Space Needle, put on concealed helmets inside a restroom, climbed over the safety glass, and parachuted off the 605-foot iconic landmark before vanishing on the ground.
