SpongeBob and Slimetime are coming to the Super Bowl.

The NFL and CBS Sports announced Tuesday that this season's Super Bowl will have a kids-centric presentation on Nickelodeon, marking the first time the Super Bowl has had an alternate telecast on another network.

CBS has the rights to Super Bowl 58, which will be played in Las Vegas on Feb. 11, 2024.

This isn't the first time that the NFL has been on Nick, but it will be the first time doing a full broadcast of the game.

This sounds like a perfect time for the Weird Al Half Time Show that we all want.

From the, I thought this already existed file.

Last year, the Department of Energy decided to approve new light bulb rules, scheduled to come into force on August 1st. These rules require light bulbs to meet a higher minimum standard of emitting 45 lumens per watt, a significant increase compared to the 12 to 18 lumens per watt found in traditional incandescent bulbs.

The main purpose behind this decision is to conserve energy and provide cost-saving benefits to consumers. Energy-efficient bulbs, such as LEDs, consume at least 75% less energy and have significantly longer lifespans compared to incandescent bulbs.

Don't worry, you don't have to replace any incandescent bulbs you have, just let them burn out and then use the new ones.

Want to sound smarter? It's easy. Just play dumb.

According to a series of studies out of Harvard and the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton business school, the best way to make people think you're smarter during small talk is by asking them for advice.

And it's because we're all egomaniacs.

The researchers found that when someone asks us for advice, we instantly assume they're smart . . . because they have the WISDOM to recognize we really know what we're talking about.

So instead of rattling off YOUR knowledge or YOUR accomplishments, the best way to make someone think you're a genius is to listen to their advice and ask sharp, relevant questions.

Today’s Useless Fact of the Day (Chemung County Fair Edition) - Our earliest fairs were held in Horseheads, then some were held east of Eldridge Park, some on the grounds of today’s Kennedy Valve property, and a least one was held at the Maple Avenue driving park.

The official county fairgrounds moved to its present location in 1892 with 35 acres of the former Shoot farm.
