A new study found living the "simple life" really does make us happier. They broke it down into five main attributes: You might be living the simple life if you don't buy a ton of junk . . . you're self-sufficient . . . you buy local . . . you're not wasteful . . . and you do things to benefit your community.
The study found most of the stuff on that list leads to stronger social bonds, and that's the MAIN reason they make us happier. The more of a community you have, the happier you'll be.

Does it seem muggier this summer than it has in a long time? You are correct!!!!
The eastern half of the U.S. is having its muggiest summer since 1981. That stretches from the Mississippi Valley to the East Coast, and 22 ENTIRE STATES plus Washington, D.C. have set at least 44-year-highs.
This has also been the SECOND-most humid summer for the U.S. as a whole dating back to 1981.
Really humid heat cancels out the benefits of sweating . . . and puts a much higher strain on the body. This leaves people much more susceptible to heat exhaustion and heat stroke, because it's harder for your body to cool down.

A 47-year-old man named Kipp Polston from Iowa was pulled over in Nebraska this past Sunday for not having working lights on a flatbed trailer.
He was hauling two motorcycles. One was reported STOLEN and another was registered to someone else. He also had a suspended license.
Oh, and one more thing: When the police approached, Kipp was TOTALLY NAKED, with a pair of pants draped over his crotch.
When asked WHY he was naked, he "stated he was hot and allergic to his own sweat."
It's unclear if he is.

Here’s the new tea on AriZona. Arizona ice tea!

The brand’s iconic 99-cent iced tea may be increasing its price for the first time in decades.
For more than 30 years, the beloved beverage held strong to its low price tag — surviving the pandemic, supply chain issues and recessions.
One of the new tarrifs is on imported aluminum and it's 50%.
About 100 million pounds of aluminum are used to forge a batch of AriZona Iced Tea’s signature cans — 20% of which comes from Canada.
AriZona sells about two billion cans every year, and roughly half of those sales are their signature tallboys. It’s now America’s top-selling iced tea company, with upwards of $4 billion in annual sales.
You would be looking at an added dollar.
