Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married over the weekend at Madison Square Garden.
While holding a wedding at a 20,000-seat sports arena seemed like an unconventional choice for a privacy-minded pop star, logistics experts noted it was the perfect move to keep drones and paparazzi completely out. The Transformation: According to a since-deleted post by guest and AMC CEO Adam Aron, the interior looked absolutely nothing like Madison Square Garden. The arena was heavily draped in peach and white, transforming a section of the floor into a lush, country-retreat "secret garden" filled with trees, greenery, and white-covered seats.

At around 7:20 p.m., the massive jumbotron screens outside the Garden lit up with a purple graphic reading: “JusT&T Married!”
Both Taylor and Travis were dressed in custom Christian Dior Haute Couture, designed in close collaboration with the couple by creative director Jonathan Anderson. Travis wore a sharp white tuxedo, while Taylor wore a striking white gown with a massive veiled train.
In a surprise twist, the ceremony was officiated by comedian and actor Adam Sandler, who is a close friend of the couple (and recently cast Travis in Happy Gilmore 2). Guests reported that Sandler was warm, eloquent, and even performed a touching, humorous original song for the newlyweds.
There were no traditional bridesmaids or groomsmen. Instead, Taylor’s brother, Austin Swift, served as her Man of Honor, and Travis's brother, Jason Kelce, served as the Best Man.
Hordes of fans braved the New York heat behind street barriers to watch the arrivals. Guests spotted heading into the venue included Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, Ed Sheeran, Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Jack Antonoff, Bradley Cooper, Paul McCartney, Hugh Grant, Ethan Hawke, and Mariska Hargitay, alongside NFL stars like Cooper Kupp and Chiefs head coach Andy Reid.

A man with the same name and party affiliation as Alaska Republican U.S. Sen. Dan Sullivan is eligible to challenge the senator in the August primary, a judge ruled Friday.
The senator has accused the challenger Sullivan of working with Democrats and the campaign of Democratic former U.S. Rep. Mary Peltola — who is considered the senator's main opponent — to cause confusion and boost Peltola's chances. The sitting senator brought the situation to reporters' attention at the Capitol earlier this month, accusing Democrats of being "complicit in trying to trick Alaskans" to "rig an election in their favor."
He initially was certified on the state's candidate list as Dan J. Sullivan, with the senator listed as Dan S. Sullivan and identified as the incumbent.

World Cup visitors loving American ranch are learning the hard way that full-size bottles don't always make it through TSA.
But the UPS Store is offering a workaround and a discounted way to ship ranch home, no TSA required. The company has launched a "Ship and Dip" promotion offering 20% off shipping for customers sending ranch dressing overseas. The deal targets World Cup visitors looking to bring a taste of the U.S. home.

Why do fries stolen from a friend’s plate taste better than your own? A new study on stolen food reveals how risk, thrill and psychology can change flavour, making identical fries seem more delicious, intense and satisfying, even when nothing about the food itself has changed.
Participants ate fries that were their own, fries they were given, fries they could take with little risk, and fries they could take with a higher risk of being caught.

Fries that were taken secretly, particularly in situations where there was a higher chance of being noticed, were rated as significantly tastier and more enjoyable.
The findings support a broader idea: when something feels unavailable or slightly forbidden, it can become more appealing.

Wildlife officials in Tasmania, Australia, have issued a formal public plea asking tourists and locals to please respect the physical boundaries of "Neil the Seal." Neil is a massive, 2,200-pound southern elephant seal who has become a global social media sensation for his total lack of boundaries.

His daily routine includes waddling out of the ocean to nap directly in the middle of active suburban highway lanes, blocking morning commutes, and playfully body-slamming metal traffic bollards. Authorities say fans need to give Neil his space, mostly because the 1-ton animal explicitly respects absolutely nobody.
