A new poll of 25,000 Americans looked at the most popular pet names used by couples.

Half of couples use pet names for each other on a regular basis.  10% would NOT want their partner to use one, including 4% who hate pet names.

Here are the top five pet names we're using in 2025 . . .

1.  Babe.  20% overall said they use it.  But it drops to 10% for seniors.

2.  Honey, 13%.  Only 6% of Gen Z'ers use it compared to 22% of seniors.

3.  Baby, 10%.  It's the most popular pet name for Gen Z at 15%.

4.  Sweetheart, 6%.  Again, more popular with older couples.

5.  Love, 6%.

2% said they regularly use the terms "Dear", "Boo", "Bae", and "Darling".  And just 1% call their partner "Angel", "Sugar", or "Pumpkin".

Adam Sandler is earing his money at Netflix.  "Happy Gilmore 2" just set a new record. It had the biggest U.S. opening weekend EVER for a Netflix original movie.  It got 46.7 million views over three days.

If you're wondering how it's being received by fans, it currently has a 70% rating at RottenTomatoes.com . . . and 61% with critics.

I need to watch it..I have a former co-worker that runs behind the action on screen!!!! (I also have a friend that was in 2 episodes of Elsbeth)

Its success also boosted numbers for the original "Happy Gilmore" . . . which made it to #3 on Netflix's global Top 10 list with 11.4 million views.

Let's say your spouse dies and you get remarried.  Once the three of you have all passed, who do you hook up with in Heaven:

The first spouse you never wanted to leave, or the second one who was there to pick up the pieces?

That's the premise of a new movie called "Eternity", starring Elizabeth Olsen as a woman who has to make that choice before moving on to her permanent afterlife.

Miles Teller and Callum Turner play the dead husbands who are fighting to be her forever man.

The movie will be out in November.

Yep, we are going there...Hemorrhoids.

It's embarassing, but they are on the rise according to doctors.

You can try to avoid them though.

1.  We sit too much.  Sitting for too long puts added pressure on the veins down there.  It restricts blood flow, and that's what causes hemorrhoids.  Not moving around enough can also make you constipated, which doesn't help.

2.  We sit on the toilet too long.  A survey in 2021 found 73% of people . . . and 93% of folks under 30 . . . bring their phone in the bathroom with them.  So that's a big reason why.  Sitting with your knees up is even worse for hemorrhoids, so less time on the toilet is better.  Ideally, two minutes or less.

3.  We're not eating enough fiber.  More fiber tends to equal less straining. It also equals less wiping and less irritation. (also..get a bidet)

4.  We're dehydrated.  Not drinking enough fluids slows down your digestion and makes you constipated.  So, more straining on the commode.

Obviously there are other reasons, but those should be discussed with your doctor.

Kraft Mac and Cheese is unleashing a new pizza flavor, for a limited time.  They say its "bold and savory notes of garlic and classic Italian spices . . . capture the essence of a classic slice in every bite."

Yum
Yum

Kraft says the pizza flavor is "now available for purchase at retailers across the U.S., and will remain available throughout the back-to-school season."

Hmmm...has anyone ever made a Mac and Cheese Pizza??

They say you're more likely to stick to a new fitness routine if you've got someone to do it with.  You can hold each other accountable . . . and if it's your significant other, it can be easier to fit into your schedules.

And maybe, there are other forces at work too.

According to a new survey, 55% of people with a partner on a "health journey" joined them without ever consciously deciding to as if they're just mimicking their habits.

47% of couples who do wellness goals together call it the "ultimate relationship hack" . . . 66% say adopting healthier habits together reduces stress . . . and 62% of partners who prioritize wellness as a team have more sex.

So there can be positive influences . . . but also negative ones. 29% of partners have become the top culprit in derailing progress by keeping unhealthy snacks at home.

Today’s Useless Fact of the Day - Florida is the flattest state in the U.S.  Kansas has the reputation for being the flattest state . . . but it came in seventh.
