Dolly Parton's Imagination Library delivers free books children's books internationally to kids under five-years-old. In September, one of 4,000 local kids could open their book to see a bookmark with a ticket to a one-on-one experience with Parton.

The United Way of the Southern Tier is the local affiliate of the Imagination Library, joining the organization in 2018. Since the library program's launch in 1995, they have sent over 200 million children's books around the globe. This Willy Wonka-esque contest is the organization's way of marking that milestone. The program is completely free for families, and the books are not to be given back.

Clothes with built-in fans are getting more and more popular. Especially in Japan where they've been a thing for a while now.

A former Sony engineer came up with the idea, and started selling "fan jackets" in 2004. The name of his company literally translates as "air-conditioned clothes."

It's just like those inflatable dinosaur costumes people wear for Halloween. They puff up just like that and work the same way.

There are also a million knock-offs on Amazon now that cost anywhere from $40 to $300. So if you don't care about being made fun of by literally everyone, it's another way to beat the heat.

The heat wave in Phoenix has not let up, and yesterday they recorded their 25th straight day of temperatures hitting at least 110 degrees.

According to the Weather Channel, that streak is expected to end with a "cool down" to 101 degrees early next week, before shooting back up to 108. So, how hot is it?

It's so hot in Arizona that doctors there are seeing a spike of patients who were burned . . . just by falling onto the ground.

On a hot day, asphalt can be 40 to 60 degrees hotter than the air . . . and there have been multiple days when the air temps were about 120 degrees.

Also in Arizona, an elementary school librarian claims his shoes melted as he was doing his crosswalk duties . . . helping kids cross the street after school. And he was only out for 30 minutes.

He says, "When I was done . . . as I'm walking back, I trip . . . and I tripped because this part of the shoe [had melted]." It came apart from the rest of the shoe . . . and now they're no longer wearable.

Mustard-flavored Skittles are now a thing that exist. They partnered with French's for National Mustard Day next week.

They're a limited-edition thing, and you have to win them.

Between now and Mustard Day on August 5th, you can sign up for a chance to win a bag at Frenchs.com/MustardSkittles.

Gross mustard mash-ups seem to be French's go-to marketing stunt now. A few years ago, they did mustard ice cream . . . then mustard beer . . . and last year, they handed out mustard-flavored donuts.

This doesn't appear to be illegal, technically….. Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard let their daughters drink non-alcoholic beer. And they're 8 and 9.

Kristen says, quote, "[Dax is] a recovering addict, but he likes non-alcoholic beer, so he'd pop one open, he'd have [our oldest daughter] on his chest, and we'd walk and look at the sunset.

"As a baby she was pawing at it, and sometimes she'd suck on the rim of it. So I think it feels to her like something special, something daddy, something family."

They've even been at restaurants and had the kids ask the waitress for it.

She says, quote, "You can judge me if you want, I'm not doing anything wrong. Like that's your problem."

A new Flintstones reboot of sorts for adults is in the works. Elizabeth Banks will serve as the executive producer of the show as well as the voice of Pebbles, who will now be shown as an adult. Called Bedrock, the animated adult series will follow the Flintstone family twenty years later, still living in their home of Bedrock.

Artists have been selling their music catalogs for big money these days, but are they worth it? Apparently so. Forbes got together with industry experts to determine the five most valuable catalogs.

Here they are:

1. John Lennon and Paul McCartney, $500 million.

2. Michael Jackson, $375 million.

3. Rodgers and Hammerstein, $350 million.

4. Bob Dylan, $325 million.

5. Paul Simon, $250 million.

According to a new poll, 63% of senior citizens use social media daily . . . and 25% of them think they could go viral, by sharing their own life advice.

It's unclear how this "life advice" would be presented. Maybe as "hacks" they've learned through the decades.

41% of seniors would skip social media, and just have their insights put into a book.

86% of old folks say they'd go back in time if they could . . . and 57% of them say they'd do it mainly to make better decisions.

Randomly, they also asked seniors which fashion trends they'd "love to wear again," and 27% of people said bell bottoms. That was the top response, just ahead of Tie-Dye.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - The word "footage" came about because film was measured in feet.
