Soccer fans traveling across North America are experiencing massive sticker shock at stadium concession stands. Consumer food logs from the tournament went viral this week after revealing that high-end venue menus are charging a jaw-dropping $75 for a single plate of luxury, caviar-topped tater tots.

Mexico's unofficial, viral World Cup mascot—a domestic duck named Merlin who famously wears his own green team jersey—suffered a hilarious heartbreak this week. Despite showing up outside the stadium to massive fan fanfare, security officials strictly enforced FIFA rules and officially denied Merlin entry to the match.

The traditional way of surfing the internet is officially facing a generational extinction. Fresh global consumer research reveals that 60 percent of Gen Z shoppers now exclusively use automated AI search overviews to gather information. Instead of clicking through multiple website links to compare brands, younger consumers are relying on AI agents to summarize data and make spending decisions instantly on social platforms, completely upending how retail brands are forced to market their products.

An Australian professional air conditioner cleaner has officially been crowned the world’s loudest person by Guinness World Records. Joseph McGrail-Bateup achieved a staggering vocal level of 122.4 decibels—a volume louder than a live rock concert or a roaring chainsaw—during an official town crier shout-off.

Classic rock luxury hit an astronomical high when a piece of Beatles history officially hit the global auction block. John Lennon’s famous 1965 Rolls-Royce Phantom V limousine—celebrated worldwide for its custom, eye-popping psychedelic floral paint job—was sold at a high-end Sotheby's auction in New York. A private collector stunned the automotive and music worlds by dropping a record-shattering 3,006,385 dollars to secure the vehicle, making it one of the most expensive pieces of rock-and-roll memorabilia ever sold at public auction.

The other day, we were talking about the arrow on your little gas pump arrow to remind you of which side your gas cap is on..because you don't remember.

Something you do over and over and you still don't know!

So I asked the Question - What are things you do a million times, but most of the time do it wrong.

I'll start. Opening the wrong drawer, Or flipping the wrong light switch, even though you've lived there and they haven't changed in a long time.

What other things do you do wrong a million times that you should know better?

Inserting a USB cable with the correct orientation.

Turning the light on or off when it is already on or off when going into another room or downstairs.

Moved the flatware drawer over a year ago and I still go to the old drawer (well that's on you really)

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - On July 21, 1983, the Soviet Union's Vostok Station in Antarctica recorded the lowest natural temperature ever measured on Earth: a bone-chilling -128.6°F (-89.2°C).

The coldest temperature ever recorded in New York State is -52 degrees Fahrenheit, which occurred on February 18, 1979, in Old Forge.

The coldest temperature ever recorded in Pennsylvania was -42°F (-41°C), which occurred in Smethport on January 5, 1904. (it's literally in the middle of nowhere..It's south of Bradford, PA.)
