Do you live with someone who casually critiques your dietary choices? Like, "Cheez-Its again, huh?" Well, now they've got reinforcements on the way in the form of A.I.
Researchers in Canada are working on a new A.I. that can identify different foods so it can watch what you eat and shame you for it.
Right now, it can just calculate how much food is on your spoon or plate with about 95% accuracy. It can't identify exactly what you're eating yet, but they're confident it'll get there.
Once that happens, it would use cameras to track what you eat. So someday soon, Alexa might watch you open a bag of chips and say, "Are you sure you want to do that? You've already consumed too many calories today."

Northeast U.S. is preparing for an invasion of giant venomous Joro spiders with 4-inch-long legs that can parachute through the air.
(I'll pass thank you)
Joro spiders, native to Asia, were introduced to north Georgia around 2010 and are now spreading across the eastern U.S., with experts warning they could reach New York soon.
While venomous, Joro spiders do not pose a danger to humans, as their venom is reserved for insects caught in their webs, and they could potentially threaten native spider populations.

Quote, "Ya boy meant it when I said I was gonna do anything and everything to help Red Lobster and save the Cheddar Bay Biscuits."
Flav is reportedly in talks to meet with Red Lobster for a potential collaboration.

A poll for National Smile Month found the average person smiles at a stranger five times a week. And being on the receiving end of a random smile lifts our spirits for an average of 13 minutes. But it's not true for everyone.
One in six people said they rarely or never return a smile from a stranger, often because they're skeptical about the person's motives. Other reasons for not returning a smile include: You're afraid it'll be weird . . . you're in a rush . . . you're too embarrassed . . . and you just weren't paying attention, so the moment passed.
But whether it's a stranger or a friend, seeing someone else smile made the list of the top things that can immediately make YOU smile. Here are the Top 10 . . .
1. Being on vacation.
2. Waking up to a sunny day.
3. Receiving a kind gesture.
4. Someone else smiling at you.
5. Hearing good news about a loved one.
6. Making someone else laugh or grin.
7. Getting a surprise gift.
8. Winning money.
9. Receiving a thank you.
10. Spending time outside in the sun.
A few more that just missed the Top 10: Running into an old friend . . . looking at old photographs . . . watching funny videos online . . . hearing a baby laugh . . . finding money in your pocket . . . and hearing a song that you really love.
