A new report claims that the "perfect vacation" lasts 11 days . . . and is three hours from home.
The perfect trip would also cost an average of $8,800 . . . per person. Which seems high, unless it includes a three-hour FLIGHT. Even then, you'd also be treating yourself, because that's about $800 a day.
63% of people would be looking for somewhere with a beach . . . 53% want to enjoy "the great outdoors" . . . and 43% want to explore major cities or historical locations. 31% like outdoor attractions and landmarks.
Of course, travel CAN be stressful, so the perfect trip needs to be a situation where you can completely relax and unwind . . . and create new memories.

Dolly Parton says she's excited for Jennifer Aniston's remake of "9-5" directed by Diablo Cody. But that doesn't mean she wants to be in it.
Even though Jennifer has previously said that she wants Dolly, Jane Fonda, and Lily Tomlin to be in the film in some capacity.
Here's what Dolly said, "We have no plans to be in that, but I do wish her the best . . . I think a lot of it is that, we're all older now, we're not gonna look that good on the big screen. All of us up there with all those beautiful, young, fresh people . . . so I don't know."
Dolly also said, quote, "Jane, Lily and I have been trying for years to try to come up with a "9 to 5: Two", [but] it never happened."
Dolly told Jennifer quote, "You're more than welcome to use my song '9 to 5', and if you need some additional songs, or if you need the song rewritten or reworked . . . I really would love to see the show, and I'd love to be able to write some music, be involved in that way with it."

National Sunscreen Day was yesterday.
Here are some sunscreen-related stories making the rounds online:
A poll online asked, "If a stranger at the beach asks if you can rub sunscreen on their back . . . would you do it?" 36% said sure, 64% said they'd decline.
In the comments, someone scolded the "no" responders, saying "skin health is serious." Others said they would . . . if the person was attractive.
Boomers and Gen X'ers may be paying for the UV tanning beds and "suntan lotions" of the '80s and '90s . . . but Gen Z'ers are lax about skincare too.
In a survey, half of Gen Z adults reported being sunburned last year . . . and 10% suffered burns bad enough to cause blisters.
25% of Gen Z'ers say it's worth looking great now even if it means looking worse and suffering the consequences later . . . and MORE than that admit to prioritizing getting a tan over protecting their skin.
In a poll, only 40% of people say they regularly wear sunscreen outside during the summer . . . and just 16% say they "always" put it on. 32% say they slap it on "some of the time" . . . and 25% claim they never put it on.

Seven thrilling cheese rolling races have come to an end this weekend in Gloucestershire.
Cheese lovers chased 7lb Double Gloucester wheels down Cooper's Hill - one of the UK's steepest - as part of a centuries-old tradition
20 Year Old Ava won the women's race and she says she couldn't remember much of her journey downhill, oh and she doesn't actually like cheese.
The pretty wild men's race was won by Luke Briggs dressed as Superman and has been waiting 30 years for this.
There seems to be an uphill races as well, and a woman says she joined the uphill mixed race only to recover her phone at the top of the hill - and ended up winning it
It was a good year, it seems only one competitor was taken to the hospital. (even though a competitor was carried off in each race I saw)

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - No two lava lamps will ever be able to produce the exact same flow pattern, even if they are manufactured in the same way, and are from the same batch.
