The world record for "Largest Gathering of People Dressed as Dinosaurs" was absolutely shattered at an event in Canada last month. But sadly, it won't count . . . after TOO MANY people showed up.
On April 27th, thousands of Canadians in T-rex costumes descended on the small town of Drumheller, about 70 miles northeast of Calgary.
The tourism board organized it and were trying to beat the fairly lame record of 252 dinosaurs set in Los Angeles in 2019.
They estimate that up to 6,000 T-rexes were there, but that's the problem. They only got an estimate because they weren't prepared to count that many people.
The official count was done by handing out wristbands, but they only had 3,000 of them. That would have been fine, and they could have settled for that number. But a bunch of T-rexes with wristbands were seen leaving the event too early.
To break the record, they needed to all stay in one spot for a full minute, and that didn't happen.
The tourist board announced the sad news on Facebook but said don't worry. They're making it an annual thing and say they'll be fully prepared next year. (unless an asteroid wipes them all out)

According to astrology, the luckiest day of the year is Today, May 18th, because of something called the Jupiter cazimi. (kuh-ZEE-mee)
It comes from an Arabic word meaning "in the heart" and happens when Jupiter is in conjunction with the sun. Or within at least one degree of alignment.
That means a degree away from lining up with it from Earth's perspective. If you were up on Mars, it wouldn't be special at all.
If you actually believe in this stuff, there's also a luckiest time. If you're doing anything and need luck on your side tomorrow, plan to do it at 2:36 PM Eastern.
According to astrologers, we won't see this level of collective luck again until June 24th, 2025.

It's been more than 10 years since "The Office" went off the air, and John Krasinski is finally admitting what he stole from the set on his last day.
John was a guest on "Office Ladies", the podcast hosted by Jenna Fischer (Pam) and Angela Kinsey. And he revealed that he walked off with the Dunder Mifflin sign.
Angela actually saw him stuffing the sign into the back of his car, and called it, quote, "one of my favorite memories" of that day.
And John said, quote, "I was like, don't look over here! It wasn't quite dark enough. Yeah. So it just looked like I was putting a body in a car."
Until now, John has always lied to series creator Greg Daniels about taking the sign . . . but the cat's out of the bag now.

McDonald's announced a new menu item landing next Tuesday called the "Grandma McFlurry".
It's vanilla soft serve with crunchy bits of candy and a new flavored syrup. They say it tastes like "like Grandma's favorite treat that she hid in her purse." (What does purse lint taste like??)
They haven't revealed exactly what the flavor is. But people online are claiming it's caramel and butterscotch . . . and tastes like a Werther's Original.
