Have you ever wondered why Yoda speaks backwards in "Star Wars"?  Well, George Lucas FINALLY gave us an answer during a 45th anniversary screening of "The Empire Strikes Back".

Quote, "Because if you speak regular English, people won't listen that much.  But if he had an accent, or it's really hard to understand what he's saying, they focus on what he's saying.

"He was basically the philosopher of the movie.  I had to figure out a way to get people to actually listen, especially 12-year-olds."

The conclave to elect the next pope will commence on May 7, according to the Vatican.

The decision was made at the Fifth General Congregation, held on Monday morning in the Vatican's Synod Hall. The conclave will take place in the Vatican's Sistine Chapel, which will remain completely sealed off until the election is complete.

The afternoon the conclave begins, the cardinals participate in a procession to the Sistine Chapel. Once inside, each cardinal elector takes an oath in which they commit that if elected, he will faithfully fulfill the responsibility of the papal office.

They also pledge to maintain absolute secrecy, and to keep away from any external interference related to the election.

"They are not allowed to send or receive messages of any kind, receive newspapers or magazines of any nature, or follow radio or television broadcasts," according to the Vatican.

You can get away with a lot of unhealthy habits in your 20s.  In your 30s, it's harder to stay in shape.  And by your 40s, it seems like you can do everything right and still not see any results.

There's a new study out, where researchers say they may have pinpointed the exact age when bad habits like smoking, drinking, and not exercising start to trigger health problems.  It's 36.

Scientists tracked the health of hundreds of children born in 1959 until they were 61.  They found that those who regularly smoked, boozed, and lounged around in their younger years ended up sicker and more depressed.

And on average, those people's health started to decline at the age of 36.

One researcher says, "Our findings highlight the importance of tackling risky health behaviors as early as possible, to prevent damage from building up over the years."  But there's another way you could look at it . . .

Enjoy the partying and debauchery into your 30s . . . as long as you quit the bad stuff and ask for a gym membership on your 36th birthday.

Jamie Lee Curtis is 'in talks' to take on Angela Lansbury's iconic Murder She Wrote role in a new feature film

Angela Lansbury, who died aged 96 in 2022, was best known for her portrayal of mystery writer and amateur detective, Jessica Fletcher in the hit American crime drama series, Murder She Wrote, which ran for 12 seasons from 1984 until 1996.

Variety has confirmed Oscar winner Curtis, 66, is in early talks to play Fletcher in the film from Universal Pictures.

Today’s Useless Fact of the Day - We are in the Hockey playoff season on the way to find out who will be this year's winner of the Stanley Cup.

The NHL's Stanley Cup can hold 23 beers. (That's 23 12-ounce bottles . . . or just over two gallons.

Alosit can hold more than 2,000 Monopoly hotels.
