Ford has submitted a patent for a technology that would let vehicles repossess themselves in stages. If you fell behind on payments, the vehicle would disable features like air conditioning, then lock you out. And if your difficult times persist, the technology would allow your Fusion or F-150 to conveniently self-drive away from your home.

Right now, a cow born and raised in Mexico can be shipped into the U.S., slaughtered and have its parts labeled with "Product of USA."
That will not do, says the U.S. Agriculture Department, which released a draft regulation awarding such stickers only to animals that were born, raised, slaughtered and processed in the, well, USA.

"Popular Science" magazine figured out the absolute best place to sit in a movie theater. Not surprisingly, you want to be in the middle of a row so you're lined up with the center of the screen.
Not only do you get the best view, but the surround sound system is designed to deliver the perfect balance in the center of the theater.
As for what row to choose . . . you should sit about two-thirds of the way back. That's where audio engineers generally sit to test the sound system.
If those rows are taken, you should sit CLOSER to the screen, rather than farther back, because it utilizes your peripheral vision better.

It was National Cereal Day yesterday and in a new poll on foods, 89% of people say they prepare cereal by pouring it in and then adding milk (the correct way.) But 11% of people claim they put the milk in the bowl first. Some say it gets less soggy that way.
Here are some other food results from the poll . . .
57% of people said YES to the classic question: Should pineapple go on pizza?
59% of people say they consider tomatoes to be vegetables, not fruits . . . although that's not really up for debate.
9% of people put ketchup ON their fries, rather than on the side.
87% keep their ketchup in the fridge,13% put it in the cupboard.
60% opt for smooth peanut butter over crunchy.
And 67% of people would prefer eating corn while it's ON the cob.
