And the new Stanley Cup is.......

The hottest accessory of the moment isn't a bag from Prada, Gucci or Louis Vuitton — it's from Trader Joe's.

Mini Trader Joe's canvas tote bags have become wildly popular online, likely thanks to interest sparked on TikTok, where videos featuring the bags have been viewed hundreds of thousands of times.

The totes are limited edition and have been available since early February. The tote bags come in four colors — red, yellow, green and blue — and sell in stores for $2.99.

So it looks like a trip to Ithaca to be on the cutting edge is a must.

Don't bother looking on eBay. One listing has the bag at $999.99.

The next time you've got a sore throat, try reaching for a nice tall glass of PICKLE JUICE. Seriously, it might make you feel better.

The advice comes from an infectious disease specialist, who says it works due to the high salt content.  Pickle juice is up to 5% salt.  Here comes the science . . .

Your body is only 0.4% salt.  So any liquid with a higher concentration than that tends to draw water out of your tissue and reduce inflammation.  It happens with sugar too, which is why tea and honey can also help.

If your throat is killing you, drinking a little pickle juice should alleviate some of that pain, but just temporarily.  It might only give you 10 to 15 minutes of relief.

Dill Pickle juice is the best, but watch it if you have high blood pressure, due to the salt.

Once something becomes known as one name . . . no matter how that came to be . . . those names are very rarely changed.  But that won't stop the internet from fantasizing.

Thanks, Reddit!!!

In an online forum, someone asked, "What is badly named, and what's a better name for it?"  And people had a LOT of fun with that.

1.  Dentures . . . should be "substitooths."

2.  Contractions . . . should be "birthquakes."

3.  Any bacon alternative . . . should be "fācon."

4.  Iceland should be Greenland . . . and Greenland should be Iceland.

5.  Similarly, a driveway should be a parkway . . . and a parkway should be a driveway.

6.  And someone suggested that garbage men should be re-named "pick-up artists" . . . and pick-up artists should be called "garbage men."

7.  Jet skis . . . should be "boatercycles."

8.  Astronomers . . . should be called "skyintists."

9.  Donuts . . . should be "sugar bagels."

10.  Milk . . . should be "cereal sauce."

11.  Couch . . . should be "human shelf."

12.  Hemorrhoids . . . should be "asteroids."

13.  A "randomized double blind trial" . . . should be a "trick or treatment."

14.  Head and Shoulders . . . should have a body soap called Knees and Toes.

15.  And olives should be "Greece's Pieces."

See the Reddit thread here.

This seems like a win-win:  CBS News did a story on a group of skateboarders in Southern California who will deep-clean your pool for free . . . if you let them drain it and skate around in it first.

A place in Oklahoma called Noble Smokin' Joe's Barbecue kept getting prank calls last month from three little kids who really wanted some French fries.  So one of the owners set out on a mission to track them down and get them those fries.

It blew up on Facebook, with thousands of people commenting on a post about it.  She ended up figuring out it was three girls, aged 5, 9, and 11.  Now they've gotten their fries and then some.

The owner is planning French fry parties for them at school.  She also set up a GoFundMe to start savings accounts for them.  They'll get the money when they turn 18, so they can use it for college or whatever their future plans are.

You've probably squeezed an avocado to see if it's ripe, or maybe even knocked on a cantaloupe.  But where should we draw the line?

Some woman posted a TikTok after she watched a lady open up a container and start squeezing BLUEBERRIES.  She did it with two more tubs before she finally picked one.

Neve Campbell is returning to the "Scream" franchise for the upcoming, seventh installment, after skipping the sixth due to a salary dispute.  She announced it on Instagram yesterday, as well as the return of the original writer, Kevin Williamson.

Kevin wrote the screenplay for the first, second, and fourth movies, but this time he's stepping in as the director.  He replaces Christopher Landon.

Neve says, quote, "My appreciation for these films and for what they have meant to me, has never waned.  I'm very happy and proud to say I've been asked, in the most respectful way, to bring Sidney back to the screen . . .

"I've dreamt for many years of how amazing it would be to make one of these movies with Kevin . . . This was his baby and it's his brilliant mind that dreamt up this world . . . To the amazing 'Scream' fans, I hope you are as excited as I am."
