Luther received four Grammy's for the album including Song of the Year and Best Male R&B Vocal Performance for the first single "Dance With My Father." co/written with Richard Marx. (#38 Hot 100 #1 Adult R&B #4 AC #28 R&B.)
"Thinkin' About You" (#1 Adult R&B #29 R&B) and "Buy Me A Rose" (#13 AC) were the other two singles.
