20 Years Ago Coldplay released their second album A Rush of Blood to the Head.
The singles were "In My Place" (#1 Adult Altervative, #22 Adult Top 40 #17 Alternative Airplay), "The Scientist" (#5 Adult Altervative) #34 Adult Top 40 #18 Alternative), "Clocks" (#29 #1 Adult Alternative #4 Adult Top 40 #9 Alternative #31 Club #21 Mainstream Top 40), and "God Put a Smile upon Your Face" (#15 Adult Alternative.)
The album received three Grammy Awards, Best Alternative Album, Best Rock Performance ("In My Place"), and Record of the Year ("Clocks".)
