Robert Flack has died at 88.

The classically trained singer-pianist only belatedly found fame when Clint Eastwood employed her 2-year-old version of “The First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” in his 1971 directorial debut “Play Misty for Me.”

That #1 pop smash was succeeded by a second chart-topper, 1973’s “Killing Me Softly.” Both performances were acknowledged in back-to-back years with Grammys as record of the year – a feat that wasn’t duplicated until U2 captured the same award in 2001-02.

If there's anything more expensive than buying a home these days, it's eggs relatively speaking.

There's a video going viral online, where someone shows a "For Sale" sign outside a home with an added sign above that says, "Free EGGS with purchase of house."

Unclear if it's from the relator or the TikToker having fun.

But it is hilarious.

A random poll asked people "Where do you brush your teeth?"

Not surprisingly, 71% of people say they stand at the sink in front of a mirror.  That's the correct answer, by the way.

20% of people say they "walk around the house." (I've done it in the kitchen for time management)

3% of people say they "sit somewhere."

And an additional 3% say they "sit on the toilet."

by the way, Brushing in the shower wasn't an option. I've heard of people doing that as well.

Yesterday was I Hate Cilantro Day. It's technically "I Hate Coriander Day." The leaves are cilantro, and the seeds are coriander.

It's a food some people love and some hate.  There's a genetic thing where it can taste like soap.  An Instacart survey found 13% of us can't stand it.

Which brings up this question - What's a food most people love, but you hate?  Here are five popular foods people were asked about in an online poll . . .

1.  Cheeseburgers.  5% hate them.  Another 25% said they're just okay.

2.  Sushi.  18% hate it.

3.  Popcorn.  Only 4% hate it.  41% said it's just okay.

4.  Burritos.  Only 4% hate them.

5.  Ramen.  Again, 4%.

Five minutes of exercise a day. That's all you need according to a new study. It won't get your body in that much shape, but it was found to help your brain. Just 35 minutes of exercise a week can lower dementia risk by 40%.

Today's Useless Fact of the Day - A "mulligan" became a do-over in golf because of a guy named David Mulligan in Montreal, Quebec, Canada in the 1920s.  He hit a bad shot, then he decided to try it over again, so his friends started calling that move a "Mulligan."
