1996 - Falling Into You - Celine Dion

30 Years Ago - 1996 Celine Dion released her fourth English-language album Falling Into You.

Her fourteenth overall!

The album won the Grammy for Album of the Year and Best Pop Album.

The title track is a cover of an Argentinian song by Marie-Clair D'Ubaldo who sings backup on Celine's version. It was released only in Europe with no US release.

"Because You Loved Me" written by Diane Warren and produced by David Foster and was the theme to the movie Up Close & Personal which won it a Grammy for Best Song Written for Visual Media. It charted #1 Hot 100, AC, Adult Pop Airplay, Pop Airplay, #4 Rhythmic.

"It's All Coming Back to Me Now" written and produced by Jim Steinman was inspired by Wuthering Heights. It peaked at #2 Hot 100 and Adult Pop Airplay, #1 AC, Pop Airplay, #15 Club, #16 Rhythmic.

"All by Myself" a cover of the Eric Carmen 1975 #2 hit. Celine took it to #4, #1 AC, #5 Latin, #7 Pop Airplay.

The album also features a cover of River Deep, Mountain High which I personally love! Also kind of cool that it’s an ASL video.
